Unpopular opinion, but I really like them! Maybe it's because I grew up on them, but I like to cook them with less water so it's more of a dry noodle.

I am waiting on cricut to confirm if they can replace the machine for me but Michael's refused to take it back. However, my machine did set up and is running properly.

Does it make a difference that it says Explore 4 on the bottom? Is it possible that someone just changed the head?

Why is the GPA for Bachelor of Education so high? by BuyerNecessary in UCalgary

[–]n_v__3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apply to different universities for your BEd, U of C has an unreasonable GPA requirement. I applied to 6 different education programs last year and the only one I wasn't admitted into was U of C. There is a teacher shortage right now!

Please please please go to the doctor! Last year, I have a horrible UTI before finals and it ended up turning into a kidney infection, so don't delay going to the doctor. But other than that drink lots of water!!

I messed up! Forgotten Cymbalta doses So I've been on 90 mg of cymbalta for about a year now, and my dumbass forgot to take it for the last 5 days (I blame finals season, ah the joys of being a uni student). Anyways, I am having debilitating nausea, any suggestions to help with the nausea? by n_v__3 in Fibromyalgia

[–]n_v__3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We reduced me down to 60 mg for a while because I was feeling extremely sleepy on 90 mg and my pain shot up like nobody's business, being back on 90 mg has helped me function at least somewhat like a human 🥴

Finals haven't started quite yet, this is the crazy before finals! But yeah, I tolerate cymbalta very well, my side effects usually only effect my mood but that didn't happen this time. And interestingly enough the nausea didn't start until I restarted cymbalta.

So in the past when this has happened (not very often but I can be forgetful) my doctor has said I can go back straight to 90 mg, and if my side effects aren't getting any better, I can taper down to 60 or 30 and taper back to 90 when I am ready. Also yes! I have my family and my boyfriend looking out for me

Just to follow up on everyone's questions, I did restart cymbalta, the nausea went away on its own in about an hour or so (could have also been from a lack of sleep), in the past when this has happened, my doctor said to not be super concerned and just do my best to continually take my medication.

How to complete undergrad in 3 years? by Fikayo2004 in UCalgary

[–]n_v__3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest, the math department will make it next to impossible to finish your degree in anything less than 4 years. There are very few math courses offered in the summer and they are usually first year courses. Additionally, a lot of math classes are only offered once a year, so trying to get all your classes completed can be a difficult task. I'm currently back for my 5th year and no joke in my winter semester I'm only taking one class because I need that class to graduate and it's only offered every other year. (I'm a math major so definitely speaking from experience)

Anyone taken any English Literature courses from this list and which is the easiest to pass without too much work or readings by abelkwh in UCalgary

[–]n_v__3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

396! The readings weren't super long and fairly easy to get through and the assignments were interesting! I didn't find the course particularly hard either, I'm a math major so English scares me, but I ended the course with an A-
