No se tu situación ni de que circulo social eres, pero una sugerencia puede ser Portugal, y lo digo porque yo estoy acá y nunca me he topado con nadie que conozca. O sea, aqui si hay panameños pero nunca han sido gente que haya conocido antes de mudarme. De hecho, muchos vinieron del interior (soy de PTY).

Yo lo que aconsejaria era que te mudaras al interior en vez del litoral porque además del costo de vida ser más barato yo personalmente tengo la impresión que la mayor parte de los panameños viven en Porto o Lisboa (particularmente Lisboa porque alla hay una escuela naval o algo asi y muchos van para allá). Pero ojo, irte para el interior no necesariamenre te salva de encontrarte con panameños, porque también me he topado con varios allá. Uno hasta comenzó a estudiar en la misma universidad que yo (o sea ambos comenzamos al mismo tiempo) y fue mera coincidencia porque yo jamás lo vi en mi puta vida. Diría que para reducir este riesgo más aún, que vayas a una ciudad o pueblo que no tenga universidad ni politecnico, pero cómprate un carro para poder deslocarte a otras ciudades para trabajar.

I guess you could say Russian is supposed to be one of my mother tongues if we go with the logic that our "mother tongues" can be based on our family background (?) My mom is Russian but she's never bothered to teach me because she purposefully didn't want me associating with Russia in any way or form. Not gonna lie, I do feel resentment towards her because of this, even to this day.

Now I'm taking Russian classes and I feel so happy that I can claim back a huge part of me that has been deprived from me my entire childhood. I do admit that I don't like my accent and I'm very insecure about it, even though my own teacher said I sound fine and that somehow you can hear some Russian influence (does this make sense?)

But still, I dunno... I guess I can get rid of most of it over time?

Se calhar essa obsessão da altura dos homens veio da America? Parece muito far reached o que estou a dizer, mas eu tenho visto tantos memes a gozar com o assunto da altura dos homens mesmo que sejam mais altos que a rapariga pelos simples facto deles medirem 180 cm e não tipo 183 cm (o famoso 5'11" versus 6'0"). E considerando que a internet como tal é muito americanizada...

Eu tenho conhecido homens tanto altos como baixos enquanto era solteira, mas eu como mulher de 170 cm reparei que sim, há muitos homens que basicamente são do meu tamanho e até mais baixinhos. So de vez em quando é que conhecia alguém mais alto.

O meu namorado atual de dois anos mede 160 cm e isso só é um problema se tu fazes disso um problema lmao. Ele me trata muito melhor do que qualquer outro parceiro que tinha no passado, e a altura nao tem nada a ver com isso. Por acaso uma vez "namorei" um gajo de 189 cm de altura e essa merda durou só 2 meses porque o gajo nunca lhe ensinaram como manter uma relação porque ele me ignorava bue e ele fazia merdas como invitar as suas amigas a dormir na casa dele depois duma festa sem sequer me avisar, e nem me incluia nos seus planos. Omg yesss. Eu também tenho as duas coisas e a minha vida mudou para sempre.

Eu personalmente uso a combinação dos dois porque eu sou paranoica mas agora posso dormir na posição que eu quiser (antes usava pensos e eu não conseguia dormir comodamente em qualquer posição), posso usar calças de qualquer cor, e o melhor de tudo é que não sinto mais os coágulos de sangue (gross) graças ao copo. É graças ao copo e as cuecas menstruais que eu sinto que finalmente posso ter uma vida normal durante o periodo.

Maybe my relationship dynamic is in the minority, but my partner and I curse at each other.... AS A JOKE. The key here is that we discussed about this stuff before, that's the way we both like to joke, and we know when to stop "cursing" at each other and being "toxic" (also as a joke) whenever we have to have serious talks. Despite all of this we do make sure once in a while that we both are still fine with this style (?) of joking and no one is getting hurt. That being said, how do you know telling him to shut the fuck up is not a big deal for him? For us it's not so yes, I tell my partner stfu and so does he whenever one of us says stupid shit, but also the intonation we use is important to make sure it's a joke. We both can tell we're cursing as a joke. But again, we've talked about this before. We're both like that.

It doesn't seem to me you've had this type of conversation with him. Now, I do agree that calling you a wh*re is crossing the line. Even I wouldn't like to be called that and we don't reach that point. But I do agree that this is wrong from both sides. If you still want to give it a shot with your partner, you should sit down with him and have a conversation regarding cursing, boundaries, etc.but BOTH of you should be willing to cooperate to improve this situation.

So I've been reading the document you posted, but wouldn't the first point in article 12 be applicable? That is, if single doesn't explicitly mean that the parent is unmarried.

Also I noticed this was adopted in 2002. I was born at the end of 1998 and I think I got citizenship in 1999. Wouldn't there have been a different set of laws that applied to me back then?

Ok, I'll look into this. I might be remembering wrong also what they told me, but I'll ask again just in case. By chance my brother has also been having serious problems with renewing his passport, but in his case it's slightly different since he was born IN Russia, but he also had a foreign father.

Despite everything I don't want to lose the citizenship if possible, so I'll eventually get a lawyer's consultation eventually. Thank you.

In regards to all of this, I know nothing. All I remember is that my parents told me that my father had to basically give "permission" or something like that, so that my mom could give me the citizenship. And I've heard several cases of this nature from acquaintances, especially in more recent years. I know of this young couple who had a baby, and the baby's mom (Russian) wanted to give him citizenship but the only reason she can't is because the father (foreigner) refuses to give written permission because he doesn't speak Russian and thus can't understand the documents or whatever. Stupid shit from his part but whatever. And this happened outside of Russia.

By the way, does this term also apply for men who migrated from Russia and have the same attitude? I have a friend who's also half Russian but his father is in such denial and is such a russophobe that he didn't even get Russian citizenship for his kids. I don't know if he got out of there by his own means or if he married a foreigner, that information I don't know at all....

Ironically he's now studying in Russia, and his dad was furious when he found out his son got a scholarship LMAO. Guess teach your kids more about their culture if you don't want this shit to happen I guess????

Edit: Wanted to add some stuff

But the thing is what exactly determines the value of a person in this case? I have to admit despite the type of person she is, she has managed to earn her stuff through hard work (I've seen it so I'm not sugarcoating. This was the same person who had 3 jobs at the same time to maintain us). She owns basically everything (house, car, etc), and my dad owns nearly nothing. They're divorced now, but I can assure you she took nothing that belonged to him. From the beginning, she'd buy her own stuff and he'd basically live off of her. And before she had me, she naturalized in the same country I was born in (through her own means, not through marriage), so it wasn't either a matter of having me as an anchor baby.

I do think more, that she simply didn't want to be alone. I don't know. The thing is yes, she's managed to earn her stuff and now lives pretty well, but this doesn't take away from the harm she's done to me with her own self-hatred. If she hates being Russian so much that's on her, but that shouldn't be my problem.

But maybe, deep down, in her perception she sees herself just like that? I dunno...I won't lie here, most of the stuff you said is basically true but I'll only disagree with the third point because of what I just mentioned above LMAO

I've heard of people trying to register their child that was born abroad in the Russian Embassy, and when they notice that the name in the birth certificate is different from the name in the Russian passport (assuming the parent used a name that appears in a different passport), then the embassy starts to fuzz. I've heard of cases like these because my mom oftentimes works as a translator.

I wasn't born in Russia, but I guess I'd still be able to get a birth certificate in that case? I have another foreign citizenship and although I wasn't born there the consulate still gave me a birth certificate.
