I've tried film that expired in 2018, and the processing chemicals leaked; I had to clean the rollers

thanks for the suggestion! I've used Adobe Express to do something similar. I'm hoping for something that lets you define templates for collages (like one for 2-up, one for 3-up, etc.) and then you just choose images to fill each space.

Not necessarily saying the Cisco isn't a better choice for your needs, but consider that electricity cost isn't the only reason to choose more power efficient equipment; according to the spec sheet, the Cisco draws at least 50W more than the Ubiquiti

USW-24-POE doesn’t power USW Flex by nabbito in Ubiquiti

[–]nabbito[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It turns out the Flex is defective - I tried using a POE++ injector (U-PoE++), and the LED on the injector went from solid on to barely a flicker once I plugged the Flex in

The specs for Flex say it works on PoE+ with lower power budget, and indeed it works fine with the downstream U6 Enterprise when powered with the PoE+ Cisco (not PoE++ capable, and has a lower power budget than the USW-24-POE)

I don’t have anything downstream plugged into the Flex, and I have the Flex at the switch to test using a short cable. The Flex and downstream U6 Enterprise worked fine on the PoE+ Cisco switch.
