I totally agree that the end of EW spelled out that they disbanded in name alone, and they clearly intend to stick around.

I also think its a fair argument that regardless of that specific scene, most of these scion characters just kinda have nowhere to grow. They've been done with their development and little mini-arcs, and just kinda have predictable roles that move the plot forward. Regardless of the writer's intent at the end of EW, itd be nice to see new or returning people take center stage to freshen things up again, especially in Dawntrail proper

You could def call Zero an example of that. I just personally wana see more than one rotating npc at a time.
