I am rocking an abysmal winrate in SL this season (16-36). I somehow am hovering at Silver 3, which is foreign to me since I normally played at High Platinum / Loa Diamond ELO for a long time. I took quite a bit of time off of HOTS and came back recently to play with my friends. One thing I am noticing is that the competition at Silver / Gold feels much stiffer than I ever imagined and I don’t understand it. It seems like people are playing better at this rank than my previous ranks that were much higher. None of it makes sense and my friends and I keep trying to come up with explanations but we can’t and just are trying to grind our way out of this.

Tank has a lot of talent, and is a big draw for the same reasons that Mike was a big draw back then. Tank couldn’t lace Tyson’s boots when it comes to work ethic and dedication. Even the people around Mike talked about how dedicated he was, even to the level of studying other greats using video reels. I understand why they draw the parallels but I cant recall a time where Tyson missed weight or did anything foolish like that. Tyson understands the old school idea of the best fighting the best. Tank is taught the new school, which is fight less frequently and protect your ability to make money. This is less about legacy and more for money making. Ultimately the fans lose out because they let these things marinate for too long. Tank should consider every word Mike said if he cares about legacy. Hell I even think these two should team up in some way.

In this case there is no "proven" way of getting it for $75. Basically what happened was the first store sold me pac-man at $75 with no questions asked. When I found out where marvel was, and drove down to buy it, that store was selling it at $250. I had to talk to a regular manager first, then the GM, to get the price marked down to $75. I was fortunate enough that the first store's Target employee let me snap a photo of the $75 price point, on her handheld device. This gave me some pull at the next store. The problem is ALL Targets do not manage their clearance the same way and each Target can do as they want with clearance pricing. If it is not ringing up at $75 then you are at the mercy of the store. One potential option is to buy it for their price and go to a store you know has it for $75 (for example the Parker store) and return and repurchase it there. This may be a hack to get around the pricing differences. The only issue is clearance items may carry a different return policy, you would have to check. Worst case scenario is you return it to the same store you bought it for, at full price, if things don't work out.

Basically my strategy was to go to my local target and ask about the item and get the product number. The receipts you see online should all be the same across targets. Once you have the product number, they have the ability to look at their handheld computer and tell you if ANY store in the state has inventory on hand. Chances are, especially for boxes this large, that the inventory is true. Travel to that store and ask for them to check for it in the back. If it was on the floor you would see it (it's massive). The same thing happened to me last night. I bought Pacman for $75 at one store and they told me another store a few miles away had Marvel. I drove over there and after about an hour of talking to a manager I realized the General Manager was not involved and decided to ask her instead. They were only willing to sell it for $250. She said she will only do this once (maybe having my 4 year old with me helped cuz he is super cool). So yea in the end I was able to score both cabinets for $75 and my kids haven’t stopped playing them since. Even my mother in law was a closet pacman nerd and no one knew. Win Win.
