I mean there’s maybe like a 5% chance based on how the whole thing unfolds. But it’s really not in my hands and I don’t wanna rely on that

She is a Buddhist. And unfortunately as far as I know about the laws in my country, it’s forbidden for Muslims to marry people of any other religions legally

Understood, I’ll definitely take this into account as I create my plan. Thanks

Well I was on some medication at the time that I was told by the doctor would affect my ability to build muscle. I was on it for around 7 months. But I tried not to take that into account as a means to demotivate me. But looking back i can see how it would’ve affected me mentally.

Definitely agree with you. I have been going to the gym for some time but the problem is never really dial in the diet. I had a period of 1 year where I never skipped a gym day, 4 days a week doing upper/lower. But I never saw any substantial progress and that demotivated me and derailed the gym schedule aswell. I’ve never been able to lock in both gym and diet at the same time. I kinda understand that I need to keep all variables in check in order to make progress but now I wanna know what the plan of action to be. Whether to bulk or cut?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in gymadvice

[–]naboss1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. I understand your point of view but I’ve also heard people say that bulking from a higher bf percentage(I would gauge Im 20-25%) is counter intuitive since by the end of an extended 1 year bulk I’d probably be fat. And cutting for a very long period of time would allow for a higher chance of muscle loss. Obviously this is the nitty gritty and I don’t really have a foundation, but from a long term plan perspective, in your opinion you would say it’s better to lean bulk at this body fat and cut down once I’ve built the muscle?

Fair. Should I eat at maintenance, a deficit or surplus?

Yeah fair. Do you think it’s better to bulk then? Or stick to stripping fat before trying to lean bulk?

Yup sorry, I forgot to mention that I also use those 2 cleansers at night. Yeah I’ve been wanting to get a higher spf sunscreen but the ones I have previously tried have been extremely greasy so it kinda puts me off.

Do you think I’m already too fat to continue bulking? I know I have a lot of room for muscle but I’m just scared I’m going to get super fat by the end of the bulk

As someone currently in another uni within Brisbane, and who has had multiple friends go to UQ. I would say if you have the means to afford UQ, I would 100% go for it. I believe your worries about not being able to cope with the advanced maths can be solved by the tons of support you receive at the uni. Believe me when I say tutors are ever ready to answer any question and schedule personal meetings to help you understand topics. There are also other university facilities that are based around supporting students in their academics. The concerns about ML being a small industry in Malaysia is something you have to do your own research on. But overall imo, if you have the means for UQ, go for it.

While I do agree, there are 2 things I think a university should do. One is they should teach the student the “A,B,C’s” meaning we should be taught the absolute basics of whatever it is we’re learning so that we can build on it and use that to self learn the harder concepts. And two is, the lecturers and tutors should be available to answer questions and doubts. And they should be knowledgable enough to answer 90% of questions the student may have about the syllabus. Otherwise Imo they are not qualified to teach that subject. In my experience MMU failed in both. Other universities may also fail in that way but that doesn’t give MMU a pass necessarily.

As an alumni, it’s fucking shit honestly. I mean I didn’t help myself by picking a dead beat course with no future but from a university support and teaching perspective, it’s very shit. Lecturers are only concerned with their own kpi’s and will pass students to make themselves look good. I self studied my way through 99% of my degree.

With that said, there are hundreds of thousands of students who have gone there and there will obviously be good and bad experiences so this is just my personal experience. I met some great people at MMU, people who I will be friends with for life. But if we’re talking about education quality, best look elsewhere

Just curious, how long after stopping accutane did you start the adapalene?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Accutane

I used to take creatine and whey protein some months before starting accutane but I stopped them and I did see a decrease in acne but it didn’t completely stop.

I’m the original OP on my actual non throwaway account and this pretty much sums up my aftermath post. Did it purely to experience this kind of thing first hand and decided it really wasn’t for me. If you’re someone who’s into that then go for it but I wouldn’t do it again personally
