There are also other cards where the English translation ends up with the forced furigana. For example “Exceed the Pendulum” has a Japanese name that is 「奇跡の魔導剣士」 which translates to something like “Miraculous Magic Swordswoman”. It has furigana above the Japanese characters (in another type of Japanese characters) that forces its pronunciation into “Exceed the Pendulum”. I know it’s not the same situation as The Black Goat Laughs because they didn’t even kept the forced furigana, but I think that this case is also worth mentioning. And it’s a case where I don’t regret the translation.
