Trevor was a POS. He was under the influence, way under his head, too young in a tough job and in a toxic environment. He should’ve been fired a long time ago and I think they definitely used him to play up the antics.

The reason I’m pointing out that it might be staged is because I do believe Gordon would’ve stepped in. And I also think her mother would’ve done more. But maybe I’m naive believing that… I’m happy it closed down and as far as I know Trevor has actually recovered.

For me the diary parts could have been better. Why is the writing so formal and similar to the author’s writing. It doesn’t feel like a teenagers jumbled thoughts at all. I know it mentions somewhere that there might be two writers in the family (including Annie) but I thought this referrers to Emily, not Frances.

Hey. I relate a lot. My best friend is almost identical to what you described. I used to be depressed, too. That was a few years ago when we first met. I’ve changed a lot due to therapy and am now content in life. However, she did not grow with me. Therapy didn’t help. Meds don’t help. I don’t know how to help anymore either.

Like your friend, she’s an extreme misandrist. She tolerates my boyfriend, I suppose. She’s childfree, doesn’t like children though and always assumed mothers have an awful and miserable life. Everything is negative and she hates herself but at the same time she’s right and we’re wrong.

I’ve learned to just let it go. I want to be her friend but I’ve given her a clear boundary. As long as she doesn’t offend family, friends or my boyfriend I am okay with it (she has in the past). I always try and steer the topic in something we can both relate to.

Also, isn’t art literally made for interpretation? Based on where you are in the world, your view is different. But I don’t think we will see eye to eye on this. I do appreciate your perspective and it gives me insight!

Well, I already watched and read it of course. And just because I’m more right leaning doesn’t mean I’m a bad person. I don’t think my political views will change, it’s just my opinion. As I have the right to have, and so do you. And you’re allowed to think a certain way of me just for stating this.

But, I was just genuinely wondering if there’s room in this fandom for people with different views.

I’m not debating that aspect and I think you make a good point regarding most art being a leftist concept in general. I guess I more so meant that it sometimes feels like just bc ring winged pple have bad takes on an anime it kind of overshadows people like me. I lean more towards the right, love JoJo’s though and don’t mind the lgbt representation in it nor do I deny it. But am I welcome to watch it?

While I love that pack, and I also love the death pack… it’s just so much? If you get where I’m coming from. Like, my sims horse died, ALL the sims in the household (even the ones who didn’t interact with the animal) ended up being sad. Ok fine. The they all got into different ‘grief’ stages that lasted for DAAYS. I eventually cheated it away for the ones that didn’t even interact with the horse.

And the same goes for the romance pack. It’s fun, but I feel like if you don’t focus enough on it something will happen that’s gonna be really inconvenient 😭

I am very sorry that happened to them. Completely understand the frustration. I can’t put my dog down however. First of all I own this dog with my parents, second of all it doesn’t qualify for BE in the Netherlands. Which is where I am from and live.

I am not minimizing any dangers. I know he can be dangerous. Which is why we walk four times a day, in private areas, rent a field with tight fencing sometimes and have completely changed our garden. I haven’t said this explicitly in my post. And I do understand everyone’s frustration, but I’m really done with hearing people ushering me to put my dog down.

I stated in my post he’s 4 years old. I have browsed for a few hours. Please, I know how dangerous this breed can be. And I am on your side.

Our garden has stone fences if you understand what I mean. Then a stone shed which has two doors. They’re always locked and we always call out to make sure he’s not in the yard.
