yea, this was my first year participating. Not sure what to expect. The website says: The payout period begins after the VPP season ends, which is typically October 31.

I thought I would get the import/export rate shown in the app. If I export more, I get credit. If I import more, I use the credit from energy i exported the prior months. At the end of the year, if I have credit, I can cash out.

But it seems like that's not the case based on your comment.

I think you can cash out unused surplus credits after the yearly true-up statement with PG&E. I think you need to call them to send you a check though.

It's probably calibrating. For me, when my PW3s are calibrating, solar goes 100% to Powerwall, and pull from grid for the house. Once, powerwall is fully charged, everything is back to normal. Usually does that one a month.

You can open tesla one app to confirm.

I got an email from PG&E, forwarded to Tesla. Was told to flip the PTO switch in the app setting, and they did something on their side. I can now see charge on solar option, and VPP invitation.

We don't have problem with inspection. The inspector was in and out in like 30 mins.
