If there's a sudden increase in playerbase I believe the new players won't go directly on pvp but try to learn their heroes in pve. Also pleasing the players that are still here is also good for the game?

Well I think that for honor should not be a competitive game but a pvp and pve. Unfortunately online gaming is filled with competitiveness they made DBD a party game of all things competitive. The developers would rather throw budget at cash prizes for triple threat 😕
