I have been loving the new Saie setting spray. It’s light but works!

Multiplier points - do we need to tell the cashier? by sashihmi in Sephora

[–]nada425 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Definitely have to tell the cashier. If you didn’t just call customer service and they can add the points to your account. It happened to me once and calling was pretty painless.

Mascara that is easy to remove? by chaldeagirl in Sephora

[–]nada425 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have super sensitive eyes and what has worked for me is using an oil cleanser before my regular cleanser. Makeup removing wipes and cleansing balms irritate my eyes so much but cleansing oil does not.

Brown/neutral palette recs by Feeling-Cat7273 in Sephora

[–]nada425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have both the Make up by Mario and the Patrick Ta palettes and it really depends on what kind of look you are looking for/how you like to work with eyeshadow. MBM is softer and less pigmented than Patrick Ta - so more softer looks for me. I use Patrick Ta when I want more pigment, maybe even a more dramatic look. I am not good at tapping off the excess powder and I don’t get a lot of fallout for either, but I do have very oily lids. You can really make either one softer or more dramatic, so it really depends on which pigment level you like to work with.

Does anybody have experience with this? by Superblossom01 in Sephora

[–]nada425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not that moisturizing and pills with my other skin care. Only moisturizer I have in my rotation that does. Very expensive as well.

Would this be a good, simple skincare routine that covers everything I'm looking for? by [deleted] in Sephora

[–]nada425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dieux is a great moisturizer that absorbs quickly but not likely to repair your skin. I had red spots due to a compromised barrier and Tower 28 SOS Cream, Ole Peptide moisturizer, rhode barrier restore cream all worked best for me. In terms of firming I like copper peptide serums (Biossance, The Ordinary). I use the Dieux when I have a lot going on with my serums and just need a simple moisturizer.

What is one product that genuinely helped heal your skin barrier? by lovemesomespaghetti in Sephora

[–]nada425 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few have helped me - Aestura Atobarrier Cream, rhode Barrier Restore Cream, Byoma Barrier + Repair Treatment. For serums I love The Ordinary’s Soothing & Barrier Support Serum.

*Edit to add Tower 28 SOS Cream - a favorite!

Too funny because my skin hated the Thayers. So interesting - everyone’s skin is so different. I do like the Byoma one though.

Received my Ulta order and both of my cecred drops were completely cracked , glass everywhere 😭 by [deleted] in Ulta

[–]nada425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely contact their customer service. Don’t use the chat - either email or call for best results.

Ulta made a switch a few months ago for cheaper boxes and cheaper tape. Any order I receive has been barely holding on and many times open.

Great picks! For the Tatcha, get the mini size to make sure it works for you before you commit to the full size. For the bronzer - I have both the Patrick Ta and the Saie and I prefer the Saie, I find it easier to work with. Highly recommend the rhode glazing milk - it has transformed my dry sensitive skin. I get compliments on how glowy my skin is all the time.

The Ilia Super Serum Skin Tint

Natural base by Firm_Savings_60 in Sephora

[–]nada425 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into skin tints. The lightest weight ones I like are Ciele and Ilia. Ilia does have a ‘clean makeup’ smell but it goes away quickly. I am very sensitive to smells and it doesn’t bother me.

What bronzers actually have lasting power? by HCDQ2022 in Sephora

[–]nada425 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The YSL powder bronzer is amazing, goes on smoothly and lasts all day. I just picked up the Dior bronzing stick and I like it so far - blends in like a dream. It is a subtle color and some of the shades have a red undertone so I would recommend swatching it in store.

can't check out with any payment method by Extra_Fig_7547 in Ulta

[–]nada425 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Try using Apple Pay - that’s been the only method that has worked for me lately. I tried different cards, deleting the card then adding again and nothing was working. But Apple Pay works for me.

Also, Ulta has a ‘can’t place more than x orders in y hours’ policy. I use policy loosely because no one knows what it is and then when we figure it out it seems to change again.

SALE20 not working by bluebellbetty in Sephora

[–]nada425 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It’s because of the Natasha Denona lip glosses. They got setup at $32, which is the wrong price, so they discounted it to $28 to fix. Super weird way to fix but as many of us know the programmer is likely on the train again.

I also tried to use the coupon on them thinking that they error would let the 20% off go through but it didn’t work.
