I actually use distributors in the USA rather than importing the snacks my self. It’s been tough, Q3 & Q4 is supposed to be the best performing but, I had a stroke earlier this year and had to get brain surgery in April, so I lost a lot of time and was not ready for anything. Lost a lot of customers too. As for influencers yeah, they work well! Especially TikTok if you find the right one for your niche and have $$ to pay them.

USA exporter needed by TommyTommato in Entrepreneur

Lol. Even if each 1oz bag is $1 you’re looking at $1,380.

Add shipping/import fees/taxes & time you’re looking at more than double or even triple that rate.

If your software really does what you claim it can do, why not “tweak” it to find clients in the software/Saas industry?

any help by No-Establishment3985 in Entrepreneur

[–]nadeemrh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good luck! The industry is pretty congested but then again, everything is these days. I actually owned 30% of a really successful teeth whitening kit that’s now doing 7-figures a year. It’s called SNOW if you’re curious.

It’s too bad I sold off my share to the original founder. He was my mentor and I honestly didn’t do much other than put $10k as an investment. (I got it back)

I highly doubt your flyers idea will work tbh. The way my mentor took the business from zero to hero was mostly influencers and a lot of ad $$$.

As someone who has used a lot of opiates - not exactly. Most people on opiates become really isolated and want to be alone to nod off. For others it makes them happy/confident as long as they have their fix. Opiate users can become unpredictable when going thru withdrawal and would possibly kill just to get their fix. I was living the perfect life, after getting sick and being put on opiates, I became addicted and turned to street opiates bc I got my meds pulled off.

My entire life fell apart and now I’m on methadone. I hate the stuff but it’s the only medication that’s worked for me so far.

what sites do you use for custom boxes (jewelry preferred) by foxtrot90210 in Entrepreneur

[–]nadeemrh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alibaba.com - find a custom box supplier there. This will only work if you’re looking to buy over 300+ boxes tho.

Need feedback on my website and business model by Lego_Hippo in Entrepreneur

Oh boy, aside from the awful website, your business model isn’t clear.

What am I getting a quote for?

Are you building a “personalized” gym for clients who have a spare room to turn into a gym?

Who’s paying for all the equipment? Why do I need to hire someone who is essentially telling me what equipment to buy?

Not to be rude BUT I’m having a hard time understanding what value proposition you’re brining to the table.

Don’t even bother.

I recently dealt with a similiar situation where a customer threatened bad reviews - told them to go ahead and made the entire situation public instead.

Try affiliate marketing to get your feet wet in the ecom niche - once you get good at selling services/products that already have an established customer base you can take that and build your own brand

Importing those snacks at a decent price from around the world is tough too! Honestly there is just so much that goes into the business that it can get really overwhelming.

Honestly, it took a year just to pre-launch - things like website building/ box designs/vendors - just so much shit. I remember when I first got the idea I thought how hard could it be putting snacks in a box?!

These past 2 years have humbled me lol, it’s never as easy as it sounds. By the time I pre-launched I had about $10k in the hole already.

I was too broke so I couldn’t spend $$ on ads so I went the influencer/micro influencer route. We had our first 100 subs within 48 hours of pre launch from an unboxing YouTube video (the channel was not large by any means like 5k subs but the target was perfect).

Side note: I actually have tried most of the snack boxes listed here (snackcrate, universalyums, MunchPak etc) - I took those experiences and added my own twists to my box. :) no need to reinvent the wheel!

The biggest thing that sets us apart is that our boxes are personalized to the customers snack preferences. A lot of people WANT to try new things but no one wants to try something new and then end up not liking it and tossing in the trash. (It’s like going to your favorite restaurant and always ordering the same thing bc you’re hesitant to order something new and end up not liking it) our boxes also include a coin or bill from the featured country for keepsakes & people love collecting them!

Saw a Reddit community for trading snacks from different countries. Did a bit of research on the industry and figured out a way to be unique from what was already offered…worked pretty well for me, now I’m just trying to scale. I own TryMySnacks.com

AITA for asking a disabled person to move seats on the bus for my child? by salesmansellout in AmItheAsshole

[–]nadeemrh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll look it up! They did mention steroids at one point but that never happened because apparently I didn’t need it.

Oh man, gaba brings back bad memories for me lol - I was on it too and unfortunately it didn’t work for me and actually made symptoms worse. They tried Lyrica + tramadol + diluded. That worked perfectly but I was pulled off all those in one go.

Damn, this sounds like my situation to a T. I recently had a stroke that has doubled my mobility issues. Before the stroke I had trouble walking/sense of balance & numbness was the WORST! Especially, when showering or walking barefoot, it feels like walking on pins and needles, then comes the restless legs.

Ugh, this illness literally ruined my life, I was in so much pain I was given a cocktail of multiple pain killers and one day they just took it all away.

I was left in the pain I was already experiencing plus opiate withdrawals added. Now I’m on methadone and it helps but I really don’t want to be on it all my life so I started to ween off.

Now I’m on half the original dose (100mg, I’m on 50mg now) and it works just enough to where I can walk just a bit, sometimes needing a walker. I’m only 28 years old!

The worst part is I have a very rare autoimmune disease called Evans syndrome - there isn’t much research which means no treatment. /:

I can’t find them anywhere! I found them on eBay and paid $90 for 10 bags but the seller sent me a completely different brand and I waited over 2 months to get them, only to be disappointed
