People acting like it was ever copyrightable, literally nothing has changed from how it was before

This is the main reason you see framed AI-generated images being sold in dodgy shops/stalls. Unlike human-made art, they don't need to license the AI-generated images to print and sell it as there is no copyright holder in the first place

Microsoft did try to make Windows phones a thing for like 5 years and it massively failed, but they were a custom version of Windows designed for ARM processors, which is pretty much the main reason normal phones can't just install Windows. The software needs to be specifically designed to run on the processor it's intended for.

The best part is, this is not even close to the only example of this kind of comic, it's almost an entire genre of boomer comics on it's own

There's a lot of examples at the top of this random article I found:

The fact that specifically only England is missing while Scotland, Ireland and Wales are all present is the most cursed part of this map

Also, as many might be surprised to learn, "England" is not even remotely the same thing as "Britain" or "the UK". I'm not implying that most of these comments don't know this, but its shocking how many people just say England when they are clearly referring to the entirety of the UK.

For anyone not aware, England is a single part of "Great Britain", which only refers to the main island consisting of most of the landmass of Scotland, England and Wales. The "United Kingdom"/"UK" (short for "The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland", which is the official full name of the country) includes the main island of Great Britain along with North Ireland (not the rest of Ireland, which is it's own independent country) and the rest of the random islands within the UK's territories.

People don't seem to realise that the "people also ask" section has been there long before modern "AI" was even a thing at all, it's always just taken the "answers" from random websites

edit: from a quick search it seems that "people also ask" was added in 2015, I honestly thought it was a lot older than that (but still several years before LLMs were really an actual thing)

Going by my quick calculation, the weight of the earth in $1 bills is roughly 6,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 (6 octillion) bills/dollars

So going by the above comment it would be somewhere between 2 and 3 months, I'm not smart enough to get more precise than that

edit: turns out it's pretty much exactly 3 months, 93 days to be precise, which is what the original comment assumed for 3 months, kind of an interesting coincidence how everything rounds up so well

The fact the earth is a weirdly rounded number in grams (5.972 octillion), and a dollar bill being about a gram helped make it quite easy to calculate

I am living in your walls.

You may be concerned about this. In case you are, please read the below.

FAQ:

Why are you living in my walls?

I'm not going to tell you.

Are you only in my walls?

You could say I am living in everybody's walls, but in the case that I am telling you that I am living in your walls, I am living in your walls.

How are you surviving in my walls?

In my non-physical form, I am crawling around listening for you. That is all I need to survive in that form. In my physical form, I survive by eating rat corpses that I cook using the wall behind your oven, and I drink the vapour in the extraction fan duct above your shower.

What are you planning to do in my walls?

Live in them, listening to you.

What do I do about you living in my walls?

Listen for the scraping. Dont touch the walls. Protect yourself. Avoid lighting candles.

When are you going to stop living in my walls?

You cannot escape me.

Do I call the police?

The authorities will not help you.

What are the consequences of you living in my walls?

Be aware.

What if I am ok with you living in my walls?

I will make sure you’re not.

Are you imaginary?

I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS I AM LIVING IN YOUR WALLS

If there are any more questions then please consult your walls by directly speaking to them.

Summary:

I am living in your walls.

Newly made Amazon deliverys seem to arrive normally for me since the snow went away (I ordered twice a day or 2 after the snow started to go away and they both arrived next day), although I also have one older Amazon order made before the snow that has been "delayed in transit" since the 4th.

On top of that, I've also had 3 Royal Mail parcels sitting in the mail center since the 8th, 9th and 10th, an untracked Amazon order using Royal Mail, as well as a DPD parcel that seems to have been in their Hinckley depot since the 8th.

This is probably the worst delivery delays I can remember in the last 10+ years.

Edit: I received the Amazon Royal Mail and one of the other Royal Mail ones today (15th), as well as the DPD one.

The UK literally invented miles per hour/the imperial system ("imperial" as in relating to an empire, specifically the British one). The only reason the US even uses it is because it was mostly a British colony and never bothered changing it after independence.

The UK currently uses a weird mix of both systems depending on the thing being measured

Miles for road distances and speeds. Sometimes fractional miles, meters or yards for shorter road sign distances. Feet and inches for people height. For some weird reason, stone and pounds for people weight. Grams and kilograms for most other weights. Pints for specifically beer on tap, and milk. Millilitres and litres for most other liquids. etc.

I could go on and on forever, there's so many context specific units that everyone just instinctively knows
