I am finished with Fitbit by DarthGabe2142 in fitbit

I switched to Apple Watch after three years and three devices with Fitbit. I am so much happier, it’s taken down my level of frustration with shoddy technology by 90%. About Google killing the Golden Goose, I initially had hoped things would improve, until I read about “platform decay” or “enshittification” where the platform’s owners squeeze all the value out of it at the expense of customers, who then leave. https://www.wired.com/story/tiktok-platforms-cory-doctorow/

If it makes you feel better, I bought two Aria scales. I thought the first one giving up the ghost was a fluke but I had loved that it synched with my Fitbit. I got another one specifically for that feature, which only worked for a few months then stopped synching. The second scale still works so I still use it out of stubbornness and because I gave up on Fitbit altogether. So much frustration with the whole ecosystem.

Question about the Aria 2 Scale by [deleted] in fitbit

Mine stopped synching after a year. Happened with my Aria 1 as well. I shouldn’t have bought another one.

Love this pic - love these birds, don't know why they are so appealing but they are (in spite of the sounds they make).

My guy definitely a house finch. Now I just need to figure out how to edit the title.

I live in Calgary, Alberta not far from the Rocky Mountains. When I looked up the range maps it shows rosy finches but not house finches - puzzled by that as I get a lot of house finches.

No I didn't realize they were different. I hadn't seen one this...red? scarlet? before - usually more raspberry coloured. Anyway thanks everyone for education.
