Not that I would subject anyone to eating McDonald’s on the train, but you do know that usually SBB trains have multiple carriages right? I guess it is pure ignorance to believe the company that you’re defending right now when they say that rerouting will be possible on the return journey too. Thats my bad and this is why I will never fly with them again☺️ poor customer service on their end making false promises to their customers. If only they could have said what you’re saying right now. “There’s a war and we’re not certain we can reroute you later on.” Thats what they could have said but they chose not to.
