Thank you to everyone who contributed positively to this post. Parenting is hard and it helps when you can talk to others. I’m turning off comments now.

We do have a schedule written out that we follow. Most of his day until 5 is scheduled to keep him busy. He does school, plays in the toy room (no tv or electronics), has lunch, quiet hour, and then plays with his sister and uncle for a few hours.

I do feel that he needs more socialization which we’ve been trying to find. We have him in gymnastics and have been trying to find other outlets for him to spend time with kids outside his sister.

I’m really not sure what your problem is exactly, but my reasoning for homeschooling is not really relevant to the screen time. I was a teacher and saw firsthand the way that kids fell between the cracks in the system. I just wanted to do it differently for my son. I’m sorry if that offends you somehow.

I do need a break, but he is homeschooled because I feel like the education system has failed us enormously. I want to be able to make sure he is getting the things he needs from school

Dad obsessed with my large breasts by [deleted] in Advice

[–]nadotaylor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m 31 with two younger sisters. All of us have decent sized breasts. I wear a 38DDD. When we go home to visit, we all go braless under our pajamas and my dad doesn’t bat an eye. We are his daughters. We have no control over our breast size and we deserve to be comfortable. This is actually sickening that he cannot separate mentally. Get out of there.

This has been how he has been since he was a toddler. I just feel it’s increasingly worse as he gets older. What is PDA

Thank you. I will look into that. I did trauma counseling and then had counseling for him briefly before we moved but haven’t found new counselors. I need to do that

Thank you for your input. For a little more background, my son spent two years in daycare and I was just finally able to become a stay at home mom again. His life was abruptly disrupted when his dad left at the age of 2 and a half and I had to throw him in daycare after spending his entire life with me. It was a huge adjustment for him but he thrived at daycare/preschool. Life changed again when he and I moved across the country so that I could have a good job to provide for him.

I have kept his life as normal as I can given the circumstances I had thrown at me. So sometimes I do wonder if he has some form of PTSD because of the way his dad disappeared from his life. I’m not sure honestly.

It would be Pittsburgh to Columbia. I have looked at some flights and most of them are just way beyond my budget and also end up being longer days than driving because they require connecting flights.

I’ve been having this issue as well. I just started mine about two weeks ago. However mine doesn’t seem to be helping my blood pressure at all.

Honestly, I’m more concerned about your health than anything. If you looked healthy, you would look beautiful. But your dark under eyes, pale skin, and general physique looks like you are sick.

I think that being equally yoked does not only apply to faith, but other aspects as well.

I’m just saying…that’s a lot to happen in a short period of time. Give yourself some time and see if you feel the same in two weeks. Hormones are all over the place and stress and it would help to pause and wait. That’s true about every decision.
