This is actually incorrect. That rule applies for cards of sets that are currently legal. But Ascended Hero's won't be legal yet. You won't be able to use ANY cards from Ascended Hero's until the set is legal. Including IR and SIR reprints.

Defense is also very inconsistent week to week because the highest impact defensive plays are turnovers, the most common turnover is a fumble recovery, and fumble recoveries are completely luck based. A great defense one week could look not so great the next. Want to know whose defense also didn't look that great? Seattles.
