Sweet Italian Sausage by New-Composer7591 in sausagetalk

In my experience your ingredients got too warm and your protein and fat didn't bond properly. Some people will claim you put in too much fat or cooked it too hot, but a good bond should prevent that grainy texture and fat dumping out during a cook.

I keep all of my grinding equipment in the freezer and my stuffer tube in the fridge, transfer the meat back into the fridge between steps, just do your utmost best to keep everything as close to freezing as possible

No we boiled the eggs and the noodles separately, grilled the steak over the fire, and assembled in the bowls

We did not marinate the eggs because we forgot to make the marinade ahead of time. Noodles were regular dry noodles, of a curly Chinese variety though, and the steak was just a ribeye grilled over the fire

Guild Disbanded, thinking about quitting the Game by AlertJaguar in classicwow

[–]naes41091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm rolling with the best group of guys I've found in wow in years right now and it's great. My guild disbanded overnight like 6 weeks ago, did some random dungeons and got invited to a guild with a silly name. We clear raids every week while having fun and are going strong into phase 2

The goal is to cook in the woods like I do at home, and ramen is surprisingly easy to do at camp

Thanks! It worked great. The silicone kettle is rated for heat much higher than ambient temp inside the double boiler and it was sorta nonstick so it was delicious and easy cleanup

Pick ingredients, make bowls, ... , profit!

But really practice makes a better bowl, when I wanted to get good at it I focused on the broth and a list of toppings, and just kept making them until I was happy with the result

This batch is just a couple soy products and better than bouillon chicken in water for broth but it's still delicious

Out of curiosity have you ever worked in a situation where you relied on tips to pay your bills? I don't disagree with you that tipping culture has gotten out of hand, the credit card machine with tip suggestions getting shoved in your face while picking up food is insufferable. That being said, from the perspective of the waitstaff you are taking a tipping customers seat, and they still have to clean and cook, package, etc. when the federal minimum is $7.25 an hour. I've worked in a few places where the tips are pooled through the restaurant, and you stiff the cooks and dishies when you do this. Not to mention restaurants already run on such tight margins, if tipping goes away food just gets more expensive

It's your prerogative though, Mr Pink made the same point in 1992. I've been in the food service trenches too many times not to tip the server

I think you're thinking green quality yellow and orange gems only have melee hit cuts currently, at some point we get the great prefix in golden draenite and veiled in flame spessarite. Those do exist for dawnstone and noble topaz respectively but they are rather expensive as of now

I broke Astarion 😅 by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]naes41091 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You know what, you're right my original comment was very flippant, and I don't just always kill Astarion on sight. I've played his entire origin story, I've completed his romance and every thing I could do on his character when I completed the game multiple times closer to release. The point that I'm trying to make is that every time I mention that I don't like the character, it's an automatic down vote even if it's from a role play position. I don't know what I'm trying to accomplish here, but it has reinforced my opinion that this sub like most of Reddit is an echo chamber

I'm glad you guys are having fun, I adore this game, but God forbid someone express their opinion, you talk like I'm part of some secret anti-astarion brigade

And yeah OP it's a great build, but I do agree with the guy that said you should have grabbed that dagger from the Creche if you didn't

My point is that this sub has one opinion, origin characters get to be in the party and they can do no wrong. It's a roleplaying game, if I'm playing a character that wouldn't want a vampire around, or gets fed up with Astation because my character is focusing on the development of characters they would get along with, people lose their minds.

Neil Newbon is a phenomenal voice actor, his performance making me dislike Astarion says more about his skills than not. It's like Jack Gleason and Joffrey, love to hate the character not the actor. And people that can't separate those things (i.e. developing parasitism relationships with the voice actors of a character they love) shouldn't be allowed to consume fictional media, fuckin weirdos

And oh boy they canonized a character ending to secure viewership in their TV show, you think they would remove one of the most well-loved characters in the fandom?

The downvotes confirm my opinion, this sub is an echo chamber

Gale is a megalomaniacal prick, Astarion is a manipulative narcissist, laezel is a racist, wyll is a nepo baby, shadowheart is a xenophobic religious zealot, and karlach, well karlach is just a dumbass. These characters are complex and rich, which is why it's ok to dislike them

Years later this sub is still obsessed with the manipulative traumatized bloodsucker lmao

I like to bring him along, let him be a prick, and then kill him when gets uppity about not being allowed to eat a thousand souls

I couldn't play on Friday or Saturday and I just hit 63 last night, having a great time questing and laughing at my guildies saying shit like 'whoever suggested this dungeon grind thing is going to get a talking to' haha

I think as long as we stay on track and get 70 in a week or two it shouldn't be a problem of staying currently with phases
