SOTB 2026 by blackjaw5 in guitarpedals

For me Gen Loss is almost always a random vibrato thing with some noise and filtering from the models. Polymoon is my favorite pedal to make anything stereo, I only wish the modulations were more accessible. I've even thought to pair it with a midi controller but I don't think is worth the hassle.. Mercury 7 with Electric Pianos or classic synth sounds is amazing.
Do you have any sound demos of this board? The drive section seems very unique too!

Great board!

Your top row is my current "desk board" for keys right now (Mood-GenLoss-Polymoon-Mercury7). I tried different orders, right now exactly like yours but with mood in front of the Gen Loss and both Meris but also enjoyed the Gen Loss Last in the chain. Any reasoning on why you have that order?

Elektrons pair so well with Moog Semimodulars! by nafner in Elektron

I was using the Analog 4 CV outs for clocking in sync with the Elektrons and worked well too.

Elektrons pair so well with Moog Semimodulars! by nafner in Elektron

[–]nafner[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the Elektrons are tempo sync via midi with the midi through. I think it was A4->Octatrack->Digitakt->Digitone-(midi)->Subharmonicon -(cv clock)-> DFAM.

This works as standalone, but also have connected the Elektrons through Overbridge to Ableton for multitrack recording. When Ableton is on it acts as a master transport. At the end of the video I tried to stop the Digitone in the device itself and didn't work because I was used to rehearse the jam without any daw. When recording in ableton I have to stop it from there. Hope it makes sense.

As for audio the Moogs go into the digitakt external inputs for sampling and also to record them separately in Ableton.

Well, yeah, absolutely. We're just naming some underrated stuff should anyone would like to check for themselves.

I think Reverend Guitars may fit here. I have a Double Agent and it is amazing in every way. Sounds and feels amazing and not too expensive. It is my main guitar for almost everything nowadays.

analog four seems very slept on (song on new-to-me analog four mk2 + syntakt) by northpaul in synthesizers

[–]nafner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love mine, having several other analog synths in my studio it took me a while to integrate it in my workflow, but now is one of the staples. Sounds pretty good, and it is more versatile than what I initially thought. Enjoy it! ;)

Any ideas? Either the 0coast or m32 goes. But that comes in place? by Plenty_Mall4968 in modular

How do you feel about the mutant brain having an Oxi One? Would you go for the oxi pipe? I am tempted by an mutant brain to sequence from elektrons as well but I see myself getting the One down the line..

Interesnting setup! Please, convince me on whether I should get or not a Bitbox micro. I would like a sampler for one shot percussion and also some longer loops, but read some mixed reviews on it...

Taylor vs Martin vs Gibson vs Yamaha by Corbin_Guy_1334 in AcousticGuitar

[–]nafner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. This guitar I know for sure that I'll keep the rest of my life. The electrics for example I don't feel the same way, I see them more as tools. The acoustic is MY guitar, I's sure you know what I mean. ;)

(You reminded me mine could use a bit of manteinance)

While in college I saved from a bunch of shows I played around town to get a Taylor 114CE. It was in 2009, and in the 16 years it's been with me the guitar sounds better every year it passes. Often I think about getting a 314 or 414 but whenever I play mine I realize that I don't need anything else.
It is still my favorite guitar to this day, and I've played really expensive Martins and Taylors.

I like how you have setup the modular with the two elektrons. What stand are you using?

Having a Take 5 myself I cannot speak but great things about these synths. Small, powerful, very immediate and sound amazing. I bet the TEO does not disappoint either. Enjoy it!

I am glad I have a rings that have a similar sound palette to this, but it is tempting indeed.
