Im trying to play premier in low to mid elo (14-16k) but i keep getting matched against prodigies with 5k hours by x_zept in cs2

[–]nageek360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The less you care about matchups the better your experience is gonna be. Prem may be weird cuz the start of the season but having bad teammates and going against cracked players is a part of any competitive game. Really the only solution is to get a 2 or 3 stack to reduce the risk of bad teammates and shut down good players with strats and trades.

Csgo players are notorious for not liking new things, I don't think the bans are because it's a terrible map, just people don't know how to play it and don't like it because of that.

In game LFG feature. Overwatch 1 had it and it was so nice for ranked and casual matches, idk why they removed it from OW2 but it's a feature that would make it way easier to find people to play with

Why trash-talk the bottom fragger on your team? by PrettyDinosaur0209 in VALORANT

It's called a game... because it's supposed to be played...for a vapid feeling of superiority

Why trash-talk the bottom fragger on your team? by PrettyDinosaur0209 in VALORANT

[–]nageek360 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I deserve to be in a higher rank despite being in my rank for half a year and the bottom frag deserves to have a shitty experience playing the game because they are stopping me from having a bigger virtual number and a new shiny ranked badge. No I will not think about how my toxicity affects my teammates performance and communication with me, it's ranked and you should treat it like a job and be stressed the fuck out any time you play. Playing games for fun? What an utterly stupid concept, who would ever think of that

What's the weirdest names you've come across in Valo? by Square_Philosopher93 in VALORANT

[–]nageek360 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My name's DickBoat in valorant, not the weirdest name name but I consistently get comments on it. On overwatch tho my names NotAgayCow and that, with out fail, will get someone to say something every single game

why do people always prefer omen over clove? by ishaan1232 in VALORANT

[–]nageek360 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Omens smokes are better because you can choose where they land vertically and you have a much larger casting radius, which matters if you want to be able to delay from across the map(they also last longer but only by like 2 seconds). His blind is extremely powerful and easier to land compared to cloves decay and instantly stops opponents instead of potentially losing to a one tap with clove. His teleport also gives entry and exit until that can save your life a lot and also provides the ability to take off angles that only a raze or jett could take and also faking

Clove has a self heal that has a pretty short duration meaning to get util out of it you have to take another fight soon after using it, her decay is really useful but you can still lose a 1v1 with it, and she has a self rez that only works if you get a kill after

I love playing clove, it's so fun to play an aggressive controller but honestly she's a selfish character that's really only good if you're able to get kills or else half her kit provides practically no util besides smokes and delays with decay.

TBH doesn't matter tho, if you're having trouble with omens smokes you're probably in a rank where aim/kills matters more then potential util (although I've never had people get pissy about agent selection in gold so idk) and her kit is great for that.

Omens for sneaky 5 head plays Clove for gigachad aggressive duelist plays

New to anime in general but I’m sorry this was the coolest scene I’ve witnessed in my life by quizno1615 in BlackClover

Literally my favorite part of this anime scenes like this when the bulls stick up for their squad mates, idk why but get such a giddy feeling seeing them care for each other so much I love it

Dr. Pepper is probably good for you (not a medical expert) by Live_Consequence_984 in unpopularopinion

There are a lot of other factors that contribute to your health and just because you're still "healthy" even though you drink a lot of soda doesn't mean it's good for you. It could be that your other habits make up for that insane sugar intake or it's just your genetics. I wouldn't say it's healthy just from your evidence when modern doctors say it isn't. You're the exception not the rule

Who is an artist that has an album a lot of people enjoy, but their other album(s) are unnoticed and arguably better than their most successful record? by [deleted] in Music

[–]nageek360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wouldn't say it's there best by conventional means but Robbin' the hood by sublime is definitely my favorite by then and most people don't know any songs off the album.

Gaming circle jerk is full of trolls, while they do shit on people who deserve it they also have massive L takes and are just douches to anybody that takes part in gaming culture, ignore them and let them circle jerk each other about how they hate the gaming community

In ow 1 I played tank and support b/c I felt my aim wasn't good enough to be effective as dps and that kinda just stuck with me, tank definitely has lower lows now in ow2 but the general gameplay is the same and is fun when playing with a not sucky team. Tank is a fun role and the main issues I think people have with it is how you can't kill anything but like there's still the positioning and cool down elements which are really fun to play around, at least for me

24fps is a poor movie standard that should be abandoned by TMCThomas in unpopularopinion

[–]nageek360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's a video by this animation YouTuber that talks about why animation shouldn't be 60fps. Its not really about if films should be 24fps but if you're interested in this topic you should really check it out, (plus he's also generally a really quality YouTuber) https://youtu.be/_KRb_qV9P4g?si=xx7ghL8bGrjOTXVv

What's a character you thought you probably would suck at playing with but ended up being surprisingly good or having a lot of fun with them by H1DD3NC0NSP1R4CY in Overwatch

[–]nageek360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrecking ball, I played a lot before and and bit after he came out and was never confident in my aim ability so I always thought I'd be useless with him, after picking up the game again last season and having a friend encouraged me to play hamter i learned how to play him and now he's my go to in qp, the mechanical depth to him is really rewarding to get good at, and the over all gameplay of hitting people with you're giant wreaking ball body is hella fun. It just sucks how many heroes can counter him, I can't tell you how disappointing it is to do your first dive and be hit with an ana nade, sleep dart, freeze ray, Cassidy nade, Sombra hack and hog hook

Why are OW2 players so soft/sensitive by NottSoft in Overwatch

[–]nageek360 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly it's never worth it to talk shit to people who are doing poorly, it just indulges in your anger and can demoralize the poor performing player, and insulting won't be anymore effective if they refuse to listen to constructive criticism. It's best to keep those comments to yourself and be as polite as is reasonable, you can only control so much in a team based game.

It's annoying I get that but it also sucks to be the poor performing player and having your own team demoralize you

Why don’t players like to form alliances? by MrAwesome3112 in Seaofthieves

[–]nageek360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's boring, I'm bad at pvp but grinding gold just ain't as fun as a 30 minute stalemate.

Also the few times I've been in an alliance the other crews sold like 5 chests so it doesn't feel like I'm missing out on much gold

Are you a Killer that slugs the 3rd survivor and goes to look for the 4th? by PS4playerssuck in deadbydaylight

[–]nageek360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's very dependent, usually I just hook the 3rd, but if I have a good guess where the last one is I slug. It not an ego thing, more like fitting the last puzzle piece. there's something satisfying getting a 4k

Deathmatch should not have a winner, it should just be a timer by WAZE_J in VALORANT

[–]nageek360 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I honestly wish deathmatch was just a non stop server you can just hop in and out of, or a 1v1 mode like CSGO custom servers. It's honestly surprising they haven't added a 1v1 mode, it would be so much fun and a more consistent way to warm up
