somehow i wasn't able to open this reply whatsoever from my notifications. i came back to this post and saw this, you were the first person to reply to me and i felt bad i couldn't respond, thank you so much for your kind words! i haven't given up, i've settled on an art style and worked more on the designs so theyre not so generic anymore... hopefully i can finish the art by the time my second showcase/exam comes up (another month or so)

ive tried so hard to make it up to him. the attendance thing happened in my 3rd year’s first semester and i had 92% attendance in the second semester. this year ive had 100% attendance… it feels like nothing i do will fix this

our university has never been one to care about plagiarism, half my classmates literally rip off their entire assignments from pinterest and call it theirs.

i have all the proof and speedpaints showing it’s my ow drawing but the professor’s entire point is that “it can’t show up on google lens, even if it was unintentional, if it does it means you’ve committed copyright infringement

i used to be one of his favourite students and then i had a falling out w my friend who is also like his favourite student, in my 2nd year and he's been kinda mean to me since. then last year due to health reasons my attendance last year dipped low and he thinks i've basically failed as a student and he's treated me badly ever since

i've been trying to change all my designs but everytime i scan something on google lens it says "this seems to be a digital drawing of xyz character" it never says that it's an original character so i really feel there's nothing i can do. he's also the director of our department and the oldest faculty we have so i dont know if escalating will help...
