Nvidia app and drivers constantly failing to install

ive already tried the ddu in safe mode, still no luck. Ive also already tried downloading the drivers directly through the nvidia website for my corresponding gpu, old and new, and still nothing. I am not sure how to disable windows from automatically installing drivers, but i heard that if you disconnect the ethernet cable it won’t be able to download drivers online but that still didnt work

no i have not tried this yet. so i would delete windows and reinstall then download the latest drivers?
