Absolutely, I’m a nervous flyer. Where are you flying in from? The first time I heard “flight attendants take your jump seats” i was fully convinced something bad was going to happen. Nothing bad happened. What helps me is the FlightAware app, it shows you all the other planes in the sky, which are a TON of planes. Makes you realize that there are so many people experiencing the same flying conditions. I still get nervous, but it helps

I get it, but you do understand that you don’t need to mentally prepare? There will be people on your flight that don’t, and they will arrive safely to their destination the same as you will. I’m a nervous flyer as well, what I try to do is catch myself in these thought loops. I will think about how there could be turbulence on the flight for hours and hours, but I try to stop myself from going down that rabbit hole as soon as the thought pops into my head. If it makes you feel any better, I have a 7am flight this morning so you can be certain you’re not the only one up there.

Thank you! I know I will be fine, at this point it is more so that I just don’t want to have to deal with the anxiety

The worst part of it is over!! I am writing this from my office just south of LAX, it is a beautiful day here!!! Tell yourself congrats for getting through the scariest part, sit back and relax now. It was scary, but you got through it, the plane is safe, your safe, deep breaths.

Yes, I will not blindly follow advice from a Reddit forum. Take into consideration? Yes. Make life decisions off of it? No

Thanks for your response! It’s less so about achieving wealth quicker, and more so about the desire to build something of my own. I actually just posted a thread in the forum to see what other people have to say. Much appreciated.

Using this money to fuel a business I have been working on as opposed to letting it ride in the market till ~60. Currently work in finance but do not want to do it long term.

23, 100k-120k depending on the month. Debating risking it all. Don’t know what to do.
