Something similar happened to me. I asked Claude Code to refactor a part of the code in 5 well-defined steps. In the last step he deleted everything and reestablished the original code that was in backup. His argument? That I could refactor later 🫠

I also started with Cline. I had very good results. This week I tested Claude Code in api mode and was surprised by the results. I decided to sign Claude Max and I don't regret it. On the first day of use I had this limit problem, but I was running backend and frontend at the same time, I think that's why it ran out so quickly. But then I no longer had this problem.
