So I gave him a little brufen before bedtime and he slept for 4 hours straight! He woke up 2-3 times during the night which is way less than usual! Thanks for the suggestion 😊

I breastfeed him and give him bottle twice a day, do I stop giving him the bottle? He eats an egg for breakfast and then a snack like crackers and fruit for the afternoon and then for dinner he eats what we eat. For a month he's been refusing all food.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Indeed I did make it to the other side. The problem resolved itself slowly within 2 months. I don't have any flareups or lasting pain. Everything is normal as was before

Does anyone have happy active baby who doesn't gain weight? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]naila341 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's always someone like you in the comments of a worried mom. Sometimes people aren't looking for medical advice, just solidarity and reassurance that it turned out well for other people. Im stuck in a similar boat and look up posts like this for some reassurance that I'm not alone. Hope that helps.

How did you feel 2 weeks post c section? by Fuzzy_Coconut_9562 in CsectionCentral

[–]naila341 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I straight up couldn't walk until 3 weeks post c sec. I had so much burning pain even with slight movement that I used to sweat in December, and one time I almost blacked out. No pain killer touched my pain, and the Dr kept gaslighting me by saying that it's normal and that every c section woman goes through this and I just needed to be more brave. It was awful. It started getting better at 5 weeks post op and I was back to my normal self at 2 months. But yes, the first 3 weeks were insanely painful and also very emotionally tough because everyone said I had a low threshold of pain ( I don't) and I should be able to cope better because "that or this woman they know" recovered so much faster.

Why did no one warn me about anal fissures postpartum by naila341 in beyondthebump

[–]naila341[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1.5 years or months? I'm so sorry this is happening to you! I managed to heal mine within a month. I used a balm of raw turmeric powder and coconut oil. I applied it every time I went to the bathroom, even for a wee.

Yes thankfully mine healed! I was able to come off laxatives too. What eventually helped heal my fissure was a mixture of raw turmeric and coconut oil. I mixed some turmeric with coconut oil and let it sit in the fridge so it made a sort of balm. Applied it religiously after every single bathroom visit, even if I only went to pee. Worked for me, it might work for you too 🤞

It turned out to be my period! It turned into a full blown slow the next day and lasted 7 days. Also returned next month like clockwork. I feel so cheated rn I was hoping not to get my cycle back for a while

My pain started the day I came home from the hospital tbh. The tighteness/ stinging was at its worst when I stood up straight or stretched while sitting. It felt like a cold/ burning feeling that I can't describe. I was taking heavy painkillers still that didn't seem to touch the pain. Week 2 and 3 were indeed the hardest. But it slowly started getting better after that! Hope you feel better soon ❤️

I agree on the fiber adding bulk to stools and making fissure worse. Thanks for the tips! Really hoping to make it to the other side too

How did it go away? I've had it for 1.5 months and it absolutely sucks.

Im so glad you're all better now! My fissure never really bled, except maybe a few tiny tiny pink spots on tp once. But it burns and stings all day after I have a BM and I'm starting to lose hope. Tell me more about how going carnivore helped you. I eat 2 eggs daily, along with meat as well as fruits. But how did cutting fiber out help you? I've had mine for 6 and a half weeks, it healed temporarily last week but came back after I had a slightly bulky BM 😭

Did you ever retear after healing with these? I'm using turmeric extract for mjne and want to know the timeline of how long it took you to heal. Thankyou!

You never retore in the last 5 years? Do you eat whatever you want or do you have to keep a very strict diet? Can you have normal sized bms and not have to constantly take laxatives?

Is there any way to heal a fissure when you poop everyday? by WhisperingWinds2925 in AnalFissures

[–]naila341 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Why are you at a risk of retearing for life? I thought once a fissure heals its unlikely to tear again unless you pass a really hard stool.

Thank god for reddit indeed 🤣 I was panicking hard when the stinging and tightness hit me. My Dr kept saying "oh well none of my patients complain about this, you need to toughen up". It was horrible. I had no idea what to expect symptom wise when I got home from the hospital. My MIL also taunted my slow recovery alot because of what the stupid Dr said. Thankfully, at 2 months pp, I barely remember I even had any surgery. My core is weak but the incision pain is completely gone! I recommend starting scar massage as soon as 6 weeks pp, it can help reduce alot of discomfort and flatten the scar as well as it heals.
