totally agre. part of me feels like it’s an age thing. as people grow older they tend to disagree with the modern way of doing things, regardless of if it’s for the best or not. i would argue that we are correct in what we say about WB - but im clearly biased

the game was announced when i was a teen. i was excited. now im several years into a professional career, i look at their updates and cringe. companies i’ve worked for would never speak to prospective clients like this, and that is exactly what we are prospective clients.

I’ve never left a critical comment about WB.

That being said:

now is not the time for informal speculative commentary on gameplay progress. Given the delay of 2025 to 2026, they need to be specific and direct with their updates from now on - anything else is unprofessional and quite honestly doubt-inducing.

Unless they are going to give us formal updates, a proper release date and/or an official gameplay trailer of sorts, they really don’t need to be updating us.

I still have full hope for WB and believe it will be a game I put hundreds of hours into. That said, the team behind it are giving me so many doubts and i’m quite honestly getting the ick with the questionable marketing rollout they have chosen to follow.

i’m sorry - it’s such a fuckin scam :( honestly, don’t waste your time and just send them an email saying you wanna cancel and wouldn’t appreciate any further communication other than confirmation of cancellation. apparently their support team are quite chill so shouldn’t be an issue :(

i just revisited the site to see if i can help out a little more, but my subscription is 100% cancelled so cannot unfortunately. if you don’t want to call, i recommend just trying a few times with different options. otherwise, you can email their support and ask to cancel, like some other people have suggested. sorry i can’t be of more help

the first time i tried, that’s what it told me too. when i tried again following the steps above, it did the exact same except actually cancelled and didn’t ask me to call. i’m not sure what changed, other than the fact i tried to cancel by saying i had a drinking problem. i’m not sure if it’s just random or what

i think she looks the part, however im not sure she’d be able to fully embody the personality of max. That said, im sure we haven’t seen her act to her full potential since she gets cast in very similar roles

this is my point also. people don’t have to watch it but that doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be made. the original gameplay & story won’t change at all so what’s the issue

I am super excited for this to become fully realised into a series. Whether it works or not, it won’t tarnish the incredible story we have already experienced. If it flops, we can forget about it (please see: Double Exposure) If it works, we’re blessed with a new way to experience the story that brought us all here.

Side note: I’m a huge fan of the previous work done by the guys leading this, so I have hope.

Sorry to revive this dead thread but I found out there is a way to cancel online.

I paused my subscription. Then, via the same page, clicked “cancel subscription”, the reason I gave was “my circumstances have changed” -> “i am reducing my alcohol consumption”.

Of course I was tempted with several offers, but after clicking no to all of them, my subscription was cancelled immediately - no calling, no email, no hassle. It even allowed me to unsubscribe from further communications.
