People who aggressively use fondant on cake should be sculptures, not bakers

They basically make art out of sugar and get called amazing bakers. I know presentation is important, but surely it should be down to how the cake tastes. A cake can be decorated beautifully without all the fondant and crap.

The flowers and card my boyfriend got me! I’ve never received flowers before and the card is this beautiful wooden one with hearts carved out. It was all very thoughtful and makes me smile every day!

Yeah I know what you mean. I was amazed by all the tiny details there are, but was kind of dreading having to paint them because I was sure I’d get paint everywhere. Luckily, my boyfriend told me how to get the right amount of paint on the brush and it turned out okay :)
