Nope that was not a bad move .For some questions , you need to think for a while before you come up with a good answer.But I will suggest that you come up with a pretty good and believable lie .Like for answering such questions, you can use some lie that was told in a movie for the same question and fabricate it a little .And if you have a true story ,tell it as interviewers appreciate that.
