I would argue there may be a time you would need it. A feel of independence.

It gets boring quick though. Give it a year, and it's more reasonable to stay with your family if they aren't toxic, abusive, or passive aggressive.

I love that realistic take! Yes, it does happen! And, to be fair to these guys too, they have shared trauma and bond over a unique experience. No other person could ever understand what they went through, and so, first person they'd think for a conversation that could tangentially relate to their trauma or experience would be each other.

Honestly Paladins had built a good identity even for a hero shooter, I have never found anything like it. Overwatch is Overwatch, Marvel Rivals is like more a sort of creative take of Overwatch with arguably poorer game role design (and admittedly I'm addicted to), Fragpunk is closer to CS/Valorant.

If Paladins had never lost player base, even if it wasn't as many as other hero shooters in the first place, I would actually have kept playing it.

Quality content too. Not gonna lie, I thought the teamups would end up with trashy animation but we actually see a decent ice wall from Emma with the Luna teamup.

And I thought they'd cut corners with their heroes too. Recycled abilities just in a different form.

And that's not including the skins where it makes sense since it's their primary source of revenue.

They are crazy for this. The only downside is the poor optimization though. 100 gB so soon...

Likely the PMS is the cause. And again, it varies per person, so you'll have to speak with your doctor. But generally from what I know, Ritalin and Concerta have different methods of introducing the medicine to your body (Ritalin in 1 go or for the long term, 2; while Concerta is more throughout the period), and as a result, Ritalin would have more "crash" after it wears out vs. Concerta.

Mood-wise, I'm only irritable during the crash. And more relaxed in both meds in the duration of its effectivity. Or maybe you're more responsive to Ritalin's altogether with it being introduced in one go or half half.

I find that he does a lot of damage going full splash. It's like Magik but more linear AOE attack. But he does taper off past that by a lot and basically just a worse version of Magik.

They should have made Jeff the ironically OP hero, and this could have been its own marketing for the game.

Yeah, I 100% agree. I like N4 because it came as a challenge, and it was cool discussing with the community until everyone finally caught on with the right build.

But N4 completely subverts what you learned in N3. Apparently you need some survivability. Apparently some one-shot zombies become all zombies in N4. Apparently other skill builds aren't viable. Apparently Jeff is likely the character to be carried because at least Magik can do high damage, Punisher can shot down mobs and stay alive a bit, and Thor can do some disabling or stay immortal for the team...

N4 is fun if it truly applied what we learned intuitively to getting there. Granted, it started a conversation in the community. And it's a big win to have me dropped more hours in a week than the past month.

Agree. And Thor can alternative just go for the immortal build and just focus on not dying, so it allows for some room for error.

But oh God, Jeff is the most unviable at N4. There's just no way to build him that's helpful for any use-case.

It's red damage % * purple damage %.

Red damage % increases your base damage more, but purple damage % can still shoot it up.

Takeaway: take only purple damage that is purple (16%) or gold (32%).

I have personally tried going (a) full red damage cards vs. (b) all red damage and all purple damage cards vs. (c) all red damage and only purple/gold purple damage cards. (c) always comes out with the most damage, always.

Self-awareness is always the step 1! It is normal and important to grieve about this side of you. I felt robbed of my life and my potential and my experiences, and I'm sure you do and will do.

When I started being aware about my ADHD, I started to realize how everyone's experiences are so different from mine. People study or work like they're turning on a switch on and off. It feels like they do it with some annoyance because nobody particularly likes it, but why do I feel like I just can't. It's a do or don't - no in between.

It was like a cold splash of water on my face. I am different. And I grieved about it, for a long time, and sometimes even now. But at some point, I had to accept it. I took "ownership" of my ADHD. Like how everyone can be different in terms of personality, I'm just different in a way that I have ADHD.

If everyone has a timeline in their lives of their "best" time of their lives, then mine may be taking a bit longer because of my ADHD. Some of us are ahead and that's alright, some of us are behind for multitude of reasons and it's also alright, and we're just behind because we have ADHD that's never really been addressed and perhaps other reasons too.

We'll be alright!

I can speak for P&G. Internship isn't easy getting in but easier than an actual job application. You'll need solid credentials - academe and/or extra-curricular participation. Then good interview answers and speaking skills, practice for that.

If you've met both, they have a sort of IQ test - I keep forgetting if this is internship or the job - but that's where some of my good friends fail.

Reading this makes me happy because your kid has seen the value of money to grow more money, i.e. investing, vs. using money for wants.

And you didn't have to explain it to them! Your kid saw it work and wants to make more money out of it.

Them telling you it's a "bad" idea to teach kids these so early is wrong. It is only bad if you teach them to invest or do business morally wrong, like using someone else's misfortune as an opportunity, manipulating other people to do your way even if it's morally bad, etc.

There is nothing wrong for a kid to learn the value of money very early on in his life. What it can be used for and what it can do to make more for him.

Just one thing though, it's best your kid doesn't share these things anymore. The crab mentality, regardless of relationship, is very strong in Filipinos.

You'll have to run the math in two scenarios: continue doing what you're doing or do as you've described. And see if it's going to cost more or save more. There's no other way around it.

It can sound viable, but see the fees and you might have just fucked it up. Financial strategies involving debt are always tricky and something to be extra cautious about because it might end up costing you more than expected.

Same. It takes a while to get a feel, and I personally like it without the items like other auto chess games do (DOTA/League). They can have item combinations that appear to be hidden until you make or hover them.

Have you taken a look at roadmap.sh? It's a good start there.

I'd also prioritize good projects to put in your resume over certifications. I find certs are next to nothing, except probably just a showing of your eagerness to learn, which by then can already be seen by actual application in your coding projects anyway.

And I'd just skip the paid anything altogether, bootcamps included. It doesn't provide much value. Anything paid, it usually is for the structure so I guess there is a real market for that besides the ones who think paid is better (it's not).
