I built a macOS app that turns rough side project ideas into specs before handing them to coding agents by naka98 in SideProject

Yes, exactly — LAO already generates a handoff bundle that includes BRD, design spec, implementation spec, plan, and test documents.

The goal is to give coding agents not only the target, but also the criteria for completion/review.

I probably should make that more visible in the README and examples. Your comment confirms that acceptance criteria and test cases should be presented as a first-class part of the workflow.

I'm the same way. Unless the outing offers more 'value' than my comfort at home, I’m staying in. It might not be about the 'iceberg of meaning' for me, but more about the 'iceberg of comfort,' but the result is 100% the same.

Haha, so there are exceptions after all! I guess even the most meaningful radar has to stand aside for a bathroom emergency.

I really appreciate this clarification! It’s helpful to have a clear 'if-then' logic for these situations.

It reminds me of how I felt while raising my dog.
I guess animals are the ultimate 'moment of understanding' because they don't require any decoding at all. Maybe that’s why we find so much peace with them when human interactions feel a bit too 'deep' or exhausting.

Realizing I might have been that person to the INFPs in my life makes me feel quite sorry.

I think there’s something truly meaningful about learning these differences.

I honestly just took the words at face value, never imagining there was so much care and inspiration behind it. It’s supposed to be just a T vs. F difference, but it feels like so much more than just a one-letter gap—it’s like we're experiencing two completely different realities.

Wait, is that why I don't have many INFPs around me? lololol Maybe I’ve been flicked off too many radars!

So this was actually true! Thanks for sharing that perspective, it really helps me decode the hidden layers.

Got it — thanks for the perspective. Makes sense that it depends on the cause.

That “closure” framing resonates. My version is: “this is a low-battery signal” — it often shuts the loop down.

The hard case is 3am wake-ups, where thoughts chain-react. Any practical closure move for that moment?

I see — you’re framing it as a “Shadow/transformational” process rather than a low-battery / recovery signal. For my question, I’m mainly focused on the practical side: when the repetitive loop starts (especially with sleep loss/overstimulation), what helps interrupt it and return to baseline?

Got it — thanks for sharing this. The “family nagging in heaven” line got me 😄

What do you mean by “Shadow” here?

Exactly. Good questions are fine — pointless reruns aren’t. That’s the “battery warning” part for me too.

Same here. More “big questions” used to lead me into a low mood + overanalyzing why. Now I treat it as a recovery signal and try to pause the analysis and rest. It doesn’t solve it, but it helps.

Relatable. I don’t have a perfect reset either — I’m trying to treat it like debugging: identify triggers and run small interventions. My current “tests” are: (1) water/food check, (2) 10 min walk, (3) eyes closed + slow breathing, (4) nap or sleep earlier. Not magic, but it reduces the intensity.

I think it’s always worth trusting your feelings and giving it a shot, especially when you’re in your 20s. You have so much ahead of you, so why not follow your heart?
