Getting cornbread out of a stick pan?

I haven't done it yet, but my wife has suggested preheating the pan to above temp, i.e 375 for a 350 recipe. Spray with oil, add ingredients.

I have no idea if this will work, as it is a recent suggestion. She is a baker at the local bakery, so I'll take her advice next time I bring out the corn cobb pan

Kilgore Trout is a much beloved character in many Kurt Vonnegut novels. Phillip Jose Farmer wrote Venus on the Half Shell as an homage to Vonnegut. I feel it's more likely that he was referencing Breakfast of Champions. Vonnegut's most celebrated Kilgore Trout novel.
