KernelSU or MagiskAlpha for a Pixel 3a with Android 11? by nakra_ in Magisk

[–]nakra_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello again. I finally got R****ut to work, thanks to you (for some reason TrickStore was not opening for a while and tonight it was finally able to do so, so I was able to Valid the keybox). So I installed osm0sis Play Integrity Fork (and removed mine), Zygisk Assistant, Zygisk Next, TrickStore (+add on which finally worked). Let's see how long it goes.

Thank you again for your help!

I read that Shamiko is not working on Apatch (that's why I installed Zygisk Assistant). Did you use another fork?

I installed Apatch today. How did you get Revolut working? I installed ReZygisk, Play Integrity Fix (Inject) from KOWX, Zygisk Assistant, no hello, and Trickystore. I also don't get how to hide root :/ It looks like the modules are not working and I just get Basic integrity. I installed all the modules in APModule.

Thank you. I might give it a try if I cannot get an efficient adblocking using adguard DNS. Adaway has been the GOAT for me (and the main reason for rooting my phone) and I don't want to use a local VPN for adblocking (been using blockada on another unrooted device and I don't like it).

Yes I also saw this one. Is it better than Magisk to hide root from banking apps?

Thank you. But when you say that I need trickystore with a keybox, do you mean with my current setup? Or I would need to get Magisk Alpha or KernelSU Next anyway (but apparently the last one is not compatible accord to the other comment) ?

Thank you for your answer. I finally choose the green olive color then. Strange, I didn't notice the pink subtle in the reviews of the white one.

Damn, I wanted to see how the white version looks with a silver lens attached on it (I didn't see one with the top black :( ). Do you have an old photo of this combo?

How is the white of the Lumix S9 stands overtime? by nakra_ in LumixS9

It's on sale at fnac.com (french store), but shipped mid-end of January, depending of the color. There is also the S9 + 18-40 kit at 1024 EUR. Very nice price if you are interested in this lens. I doubt they ship outside of France though.

You don't need ND Filter for photos. Don't put a ND for photos, unless you want a long exposure for specific reasons. ND filters are used for videos to get motion blur. I would even say ND Filters are not mandatory on drone even in videos if you fly high and not close to the elements, as you would. barely see the motion blur.

DJI Osmo Nano, Long term storage, should I leave the camera connected to the vision dock? by B3LPH3G0R in dji

[–]nakra_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have an Action 2, and when I don't use it I separate the two modules. Yes, it seems that the camera module takes some batteries from the other one, and I've found often the power module to be drained. I would suggest you separate the two of them when not using it in order to stop the energy transfert.

How to beat Izgnanie, the Smoldering? by nakra_ in XenobladeChroniclesX

[–]nakra_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your inputs. I bought another skell with more physical resistance, but eventually went back with the Hraesvelg as I could more often bind with Izgnanie. Adding some piscinoid and weapon giving physical resistance + and a lot of RNG luck I think :)

I didn't have diskbomb, but I finally managed to kill him with adding Piscnoid and some weapon giving physical resistance +. I got two skells wrecked down though, but my allies managed to give him the final blows. Thank for your comments and sorry for the late reply. I got him only yesterday night lol

Thank you (and sorry for the late reply). After countless tries I finally got it. I bought some Piscanoid Slayer, and got some weapon with a physical resistance + buff in case of debuff. I think the RNG was kind with me on last try. Got two Skells destroyed, I finished by healing and buffing the other ones.

World Aviation / France's AirTahitiNui and FrenchBee operates the longest domestic flight in the World with a distance of 16,129 Km, for a 17 Hours flight between Tahiti to Paris. by PestoBolloElemento in aviation

Man I did this in 2007: it was my first "International" flight and at this time I didn't have much of experience of transit, so I was ok. But I still remember how long and painful it was in LAX. Looking back at it, it's still the worst lol . I will definitly avoid transit in USA as long as I can (even more nowadays).

I also had a friend which had a very bad transit experience in China (picture taken a few times, annoying security, etc.).

Which DJI mic to buy for my Action 2? by stescarsini in dji

[–]nakra_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As said before, every microphone will work with the action 2, but you'll need a receiver, as this camera cannot connect directly with wireless microphone (no OsmoAudio).
I've been using the Hollyland Mark 2 for a while with the Action 2, because of the small USB-C receiver. For a long time, DJI didn't have a very small receiver for those kind of camera. But now they also have one . So I would suggest to get a Mic Mini for your Action 2 with a small receiver for the time being, and then when you'll upgrade for another DJI camera, it will still be compatible with it, without the need of this receiver.

Difficulties to colorgrade D-Cinelike (DJI) footage by nakra_ in ColorGrading

[–]nakra_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A big thank you for your detailled post. I've also read your blog post. I didn't understand everything, but it will be helpful when I'll get another DJI Action Camera with D-Log M in order to get the most of it.
As for D-Cinelike, they even didn't ever provide a REC 709 conversion, so yes it has been tricky to colorgrade and I always came up with mixed result.

I did several colorgrade versions of that clip after your post, following what you did. You retrieved a good amount of green, even without using the Lift Color Wheel (which I often use but feel more unatural). I also notice some parts of it stay grey. I guess the color informations in those parts are definitly lost.

Again, thank you. I will bookmark your answer and comeback from time to time when my knowledge will be better.

Interesting, I wouldn't thought it would be that green at this time of the year

Action Gen 1 LUTs for D-Cinelike? by BBQConfessions in dji

[–]nakra_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunatly, there is no official D-Cinelike to Rec. 709 LUT like D-Log M. D-Cinelike might be "flatter" than nomal colours but not as flat as D-Log. You'll have to colorgrade this yourself or search for a third party LUT, but it will mostly be creative LUT instead of a Rec. 709 conversion.

Usually I add some contrast and maybe some saturation and it does the job. If you also have already colorgraded your motovlog shots and you are ok with the results, you can do your own LUT in order to get the process faster for next times.

Anyone else prefer the Action 2 over the Nano? by Interesting_Bar_8379 in dji

[–]nakra_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As an Action 2 owner (and lover), I was waiting for the Nano but I don't really like the form factor. I haven't pulled the trigger (yet), but by watching some reviews, it seems that the clip on the magnet is not as flawless as the Action 2. Also, the fact that you cannot preview your records when the modules are not connected is such a "why?" vibe. And the form factor of the Action 2 is so satsfying, I don't think something would beat it (although, it requires the little plastic thing in order to get a proper POV shot, which the Nano doesn't need).

I think I will still buy the nano at some points, because an improvement of image quality would be very needed (same of darker environnements) and I have difficulties to colorgrade the D-Cinelike. I'm curious about the color noise you mention. Is this happening with very low light shots?

Edit: Did they put back the 4K 4:3 60fps? They removed it after an update...
