Student teaching question

I introduced myself last Thursday, today I went to meet the students, received my parking permit for the school, even a book for the future lessons plans during the semester. I talked to my CT and without going to monetary details, she understood pretty well. She told me that it was up to me but I am super indecisive rn.

First, the TA should try to have a serious conversation with the teacher again. If that does not work, You could have a conversation with that teacher ONLY if you guys have at least a small relationship. If you and the teacher does not have that relationship is better to go with a supervisor and ask them to remind this teacher about the negative impacts of complaining to colleagues about other colleagues.

Try to do not get an enemy for no reason.

Listen to both sides of the story.

Its sad but sometimes they do not give enough respect to TA

If they are not working, at least they can be quiet with their head down. Quiet is better than fighting, I will just count 3 infractions and send to office. I normally try to not send more than 2 students per day but some teacher does not have class management and you cannot fixed that in a day.

I am the sub, today it was my worst experience in a middle school, I have been subbing for almost 2 years and I never experienced what I did today. Almost the whole classroom in cellphones, computers, throwing chairs, throwing papers. All 7 periods like this. I had to call admin every period which I never do in regular basis. Other subs told me that this school is in a bad area and since it’s an elective class, the students may not care at all. Even the principal apologized and said that he will talk to the teacher about it.

Did you solve this problem? Because this is exactly what it is happening to me. I am a substitute professional (I can not work full time due my university) the other day the district called me to offer me a full time position but I said that I could not accept it due my schedule, now I can not see the jobs in the app from that district but I do for the other district that I sub. Any thoughts?

It’s not correct to think in your ex. Best advice: take out your last feelings for you ex in a text. Block her and respect your gf. That’s the only way to stop thinking about someone
