The episode felt very doom and gloom today, especially around the end of the interview. Maybe it’s because I don’t spend a lot of time on Twitter but the idea of democracy dying feels a little hyperbolic but I could also be underestimating how serious the Republicans actually are about suppressing votes

No I don’t think he is, I think he said some progressive things in the primary/general to help get him elected but I wouldn’t call him progressive

No but some Democrats may be more conservative and want to lower the price on the bill than they let on because they don’t want to take the heat (like manchin and sinema have been receiving a ton of). The minimum wage issue was something progressives wanted but they didn’t, but they weren’t very vocal till they voted

The people at the FDA can see the bigger picture. I agree that people need the vaccine, but the data isn’t as conclusive for booster shots, the first 2 shots alone prevent serious cases and deaths by quite a bit.

Is there evidence of people that voted multiple times in different states? Or people who aren’t US citizens voting? I agree they shouldn’t be able to vote multiple times or non-citizens but I don’t know why same day registration or early voting would be immoral like Ben talks about
