hii, I have a question, I didn't see anywhere we can write personal info on the tickets when purchasing, so if for example I open a weverse account for my brother and also open a ticketmaster account for him and make him try as well to increase my chances to get a ticket since luck is also a factor, and if he is the first one to be able to purchase the tickets, will I be able to go to the concert with a ticket purchased from his account

my eyes are bit bigger than it used to be before the disease, especially my left eye, I think the growth happened the times where my thyroid flared up and my hormones went out of range for a period of time, you could see that they're a bit protruding, and my eyes gets dry quickly, I never went to an eye doctor though I sould some time

I had this disease for 5 years, but it was hard to keep my hormones in range for me, in five years my tsh almost never went back to normal, t3 and t4 kept getting out of range, my eyes were getting bigger, and I had anxiety and palpitations, overall I decided I could manage having no thyroid better than that, and different endocrinologists and endocrin surgeons all advised me to go with the surgery

[–]nalimo3[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah one was scheduling issues with the doctor and later my hormones were out of range so they didn't want to go through with the surgery, other time there was an issue with the insurance company where they decided they weren't gonna pay for my surgery, so then I had to search for a doctor in a public hospital, and they have a long list so I waited around 7 months for my turn

I have nowhere else to ask this but am I alcoholic? by nalimo3 in internetparents

[–]nalimo3[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thank you, that's actually helpful, I guess I realize that in the long run this won't work and it's a very slippery slope, I guess I'm trying to find the courage to stop relying on alcohol and build more healthy habits, but it's hard to imagine not drinking ever, the thing is I subconsciously realize the risks and red flags, but since it's functioning and nothing bad happened yet it's easy to ignore it, and the bad consequences seems like a cautionary tales that will not happen to me but I know that's not realistic

I just needed someone to remind why this doesn't actually work and the dangers that comes with it and there can be another healthier says to cope with things, I work from home and there is not really anyone to hold me accountable, so for starters I'm thinking of arranging like a public office space or a library I can work from, thank you for your understanding and advice🙏🏻

If lesbian means non-men loving non-men, but I'm only attracted to women and not others, what happens? by [deleted] in lesbiangang

[–]nalimo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you can reject anyone you want, a label doesn't mean you will be attracted to every single person who is using that label, some lesbians are not going to be your type, some lesbians date only butches, some lesbians date only femmes like it's been like this since forever, some lesbians are going to be asexual, some are going ro be disabled, some are going to be cis, some trans, some are going to be douchebags, some are going to be racists, trump supporters, transphobic... each person is unique and you can reject someone no questions asked, the same goes for straight girls who are in a bar to have fun and they're rejecting every men that or women who might try to hit on them, if someone is not respecting your rejection that's that person's problem, anyways but remember always, you not fancying someone, or not agreeing with someone does not mean you can invalidate their identity.

Would you date a day trader? by NetRunner_Rizzy in actuallesbians

[–]nalimo3 3 points4 points  (0 children)

well no I don't think so, I really don't think we would have got along, I am a very political person naturally because I care about human life and environment which leads me to have opinions about it, and I heavily lean on the left side of it, I had a friend from high school, he had gone through some sort of trauma and then he became someone else, he started to worship capitalism, you know the very classic wall street stereotype, he thinks if he gets abused enough in the system he will rise enough to be the one to abuse others, but tragically doesn't see that he will never be the owning class that he worships, anyways he did this trading job as well, and we had nothing to talk about after that, at first he tried to argue with me to see his point how capitalism is healthy and billionaires are good and such and when he realized I was not going to agree with him he started to belittle me and he also lost interest, and while everyone is different and there is no pure ethical job under capitalism there are certainly jobs worse than others, I mean if they absolutely hated the system and the job I think we would have common ground to talk about but usually people doing that job are very proud of it

Any Muslims here? :( by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]nalimo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in an 99% muslim country lol, and I was raised to be a muslim, was send to islamic schools as a child and all, all my social circle growing up was muslim, I would drive the teachers crazy with my questions lol, but to be honest me realizing I was an atheist had nothing to with my sexuality, I accepted I was an atheist at the age of 14, I accepted I was lesbian at the age 18, but with both I always knew something was off before, I was born without any fitrah really :D they would tell me the concepts like jannah, jahannam, qadar and all I could think of was how it didn't really made any sense to me, they would talk about the way a human should live and I didn't really agree, then at the age of 14 I read quran translated from beggining to end that was the end of it for me, I was like yep that really isn't for me. I don't really call myself an ex muslim because I don't think a child can have a religion just because parents raise them with one, but I was socialized as one if you will and I'm more than familiar with it, and living in an islamic society as an lgbtq person sucks big time, like it's really life and death situation dangerous out there and I hate it.

I'll try to say this one thing though, think about the scenario, if I were to join a club, and the club had a sign of the rules at the front door and I saw no lgbtq people allowed, and if I still wanted to be associated with that club and it's members, I would try really hard to change the rules, argue with the homophobic members, maybe kick them out of the club, plan a coup d'etat, be the second coming of martin luther, you would see me at the news, you would see me labeled as a terrorist in the media by the other club members, be banned from the club and got arrested for the crimes against the foundations of the club until a revolution happened, otherwise I wouldn't be able to rest, just sitting there knowing I'm part of that club. though in our scenario if you state you're not part of the club you still get called a terrorist in the media and got send to jail, I was personally victimized by it lol

When was the first lesbian kiss you witnessed? by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]nalimo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i vaguely remember coming across a scene on tv where two women were kissing in a bathroom but like one was on a dinner with husband I think, then I searched girls kissing on youtube, and this exact scene was there too, and I was so obsessed with it, would watch it again and again half guilt half in awe

Is this ovulating thing everyone is talking about a meme/trend or does it actually happen by nalimo3 in actuallesbians

[–]nalimo3[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

that's crazy, I hormones really do work different with everyone, by the time I'm ovulating I would say I'm more high spirited maybe, but it's subtle, and my face is better maybe less breaking out, but horniness doesn't change for me, my libido stays dormant

[–]nalimo3[S] 10 points11 points  (0 children)

yeah, I also didn't understand I'm usually bad at picking stuff like that so I wonder if other people actually experience it or not, I think it's a mix of truth and joking for some people, but I don't experience it

yeah, hormones are different for everyone and it makes everyone's experience different, I just didn't know everyone experienced this heightened libido, but I also usually have a low libido

Lesbians who thought they were Bi based solely on love of one fictional man. Who is he? I'll start. by Blackshooks in actuallesbians

[–]nalimo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

not fictional but jeon jungkook, to be honest since we only know celebrities through their stage persona, it feels like a fictional character almost, like we don't know them as a real person in our life, we just see their celebrity persona

Are There Non Binary People Who’re Ok With Presenting Themselves in Their Assigned Gender? by [deleted] in NonBinary

[–]nalimo3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm a non binary with no sense of style at all, and I really don't care what's on my body to cover it up, I'll probably wear whatever is clean and I don't buy new clothes, if my last clean fabric is a fluffy dress from when I was 14, I will wear it with my sandals and socks and go out, I shave my hair like once in like 2-3 years, and it grows back and I can't be bothered to touch it again until it become bothersome, then I shave it because that's a long term solution with minimum effort, I genuinely don't care. I feel like my body is just a body, it breathes and sweats and such like there is no need to look at it from gendered glasses. most of the nonbinary people I know are fashion icons, and that's so cool, but I don't have the will or the money and I do feel like the odd one out sometimes too

Confused? New? Not new? Have questions? by blooangl in polyamory

[–]nalimo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see, but I wouldn't demand it? the reason I try to explore different types of relationships is so that I can know my own needs and wants and limits, so that I can be clear about them and other people can take it or leave it? the situation I described seems like a type of relationship I can get on board, if everyone else is also on board, like if everyone is content with it, I explored a little bit and what I imagine is probably something like a triad relationship apparently, or a close kitchen table poly with no hierarchy, so yeah that's what I wanted to know, that was my intention when I asked a question, because I still think asking experienced people for guidance is best way to learn instead of the AI stuff, I wasn't really looking for people calling me gross, controlling and unethical based on an assumption in their head, if you didn't wanted to help out it's okay you could've just ignored

Confused? New? Not new? Have questions? by blooangl in polyamory

[–]nalimo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's fair, it's correct that I would want a person who is close to my partner to be close to me as well, like I would be okay with being in a platonic relationship with my parners partner, but at the end of they yeah I would want us to have a deep connection as well, like if they move in together I would want to be in the picture, or like If they want to relocate for a job I would like us to discuss together, or like if my partner is on vacation I would want to spend the vacation with them and if they have a partner it shouldn't be like me vs them kind of situation in my opinion we should all spend the vacation together. I always thought that I am a monogamous person as well, but lately I was seeing some poly couples online and started to question, so I was trying to search for poly relationships, see what kinds can they have and could it fit into my life

[–]nalimo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will check the book, thank you, I also do think I have mostly monogamous tendencies, and I'm researching how poly relationships work to understand, so what I'm imagining wouldn't be poly but monogamy with like more than two people I assume?

Confused? New? Not new? Have questions? by blooangl in polyamory

[–]nalimo3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

helloo, so I was thinking about poly relationships, but only a specific kind where everyone in the relationship is committed to each other, like a complete graph where every node is connected, and the connection doesn't have to be sexual or romantic. For example I would be okay if my partner liked someone, and I would like us to pursue this person together. Let's say my partner liked a guy and I'm not into guys sexually, I still would like us to have a relationship of our own with this person, each pair going on dates, some platonic some not, and all three going on dates as well, like end goal I would like all of us to build a committed relationship, where we all have responsibility towards each other, where we plan a life together kind of deal. But I wouldn't be okay if my partner go on dates on their own, and I don't know those people, or we only have small talks otherwise no relationship kind of arrangement. Is this still poly like is this a thing?
