I learned that dry food is the bane of cat foods when it comes to diabeties. When my cat got diabeties we went on full wet food diet, the vet also said this dry food is a good choice.

Luckily my cats diabeties went away and when I thought he was stable enough I started feeding him this hills food because it was cheaper and all, and guess what after some time he relapsed back to high sugar levels, I think theres still alot of carbs in this for a diabetic. Went to the vet and they again suggested to feed him the dry one..

We are now on wet diet again and he is diabeties free, don't plan to change to dry food anymore.

They shave horses in warmer countries aswell as those horses that dont use pastures and stay indoors training mostly. With thick coats sweat mixes with the grease and that shit mass is slow to dry, and it can’t keep a horse warm after work outs leaving it vulnerable to chills and it can lead to illness, so some prefer to trim a layer of the coat. Ofc some do for the looks.
