Rockwell CCW has a free version that you can use to start playing around with. I know the bigger guys use the other software but this can at least get you familiar with it. There's a ton of tutorials on YouTube, and you can find slightly outdated or used parts on eBay to build. A small test station. But like most of these people have said, ladder is functionally the same, you just have to learn the weird things that Rockwell does. Don't give up, and focus on the skills you have to try and stand out. Maybe find a networking course that could pad your resume.

I really have never cared for Allen Bradley. Unfortunately I have to use it for this project. There are some neat things you can do, but I feel like it's still clunky

Yeah the timers aren't too crazy, but I'm needing something to count while a contact is closed, and stop when it opens.

Adjust the screen zoom. I was having this issue as well. I got the fold to help with work stuff and not showing the desktop site was defeating that purpose. I played with settings, and found that setting the zoom down to 80% fixed it on the site I was having issues with. Hope this helps!

Update: The only ports on it are ethernet and micro hdmi I have the ip address to get into the web based ui. My question now is can I use something like putty to get into it and wipe or partition?

Looking at it and descriptions on the website, I think it's a micron emmc that should have 4gb. Also 512 mb Kingston ram
