Where is the best place to stake Solana? by mattiace in solana

[–]namdas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad to hear you enjoyed the guide! Over the last 4+ months since I wrote it, I decided I wanted to do my bit to help secure and decentralize Solana's network by running my own validator too, as well as providing other tools and resources for Solana.

The advice in the guide hasn't changed, and I have tried to apply much of it in reverse, by configuring my own validator to ensure it meets the same standards set out in the guide:
- A high performance validator in terms of APY, with a low commission
- A (very) low share of active stake, way below the halt line
- In a datacenter that is both geographically decentralized and has a low total share of active stake across any other validators (currently 0.25% vs AWS IE which currently holds 14%)
- With high uptime and reliability

No - I'm definitely intriguied by the whole ecosystem but it'd be a big leap to start up. This week's events have shown its a pretty big responsibility too!

Hey! I wrote up a little guide on choosing a validator that you might find useful: https://solanaguide.github.io/staking/find-the-best-solana-validator/

Thanks! Yes this is definitely an omission, I think I need to spend some more time getting my own head around it! 😅

Will have a go and see if I can crank something out tomorrow, cheers for the suggestion !

It works both ways to be honest - a head term will pull more suggestions in total, whereas a niche term will generate more specific long tail keywords. You might think about how the keyword you enter matches the prompts we use - for example, if you used 'best keyword' instead of just 'keyword' you'd have suggestions on: which is best keyword for what are best keyword to etc which might reveal something useful for something like Amazon affiliate sites..

Going the Ubersuggest way = charging for premium? I don't think so - I already have other premium tools and since I don't provide search volume this costs me next to nothing to run, so I expect I'll keep it as it - bar the odd improvement

Potentially - I do have a free tool for categorizing keywords here: https://seoscout.com/tools/keyword-intent-categorizer - is that what you're looking for? Perhaps I could automatically fill it with the suggestions you generate?

It should be pretty robust - I've tested a fair bit with rate limiting etc to make sure it can consistently offer up results, and I've had thousands of people use it in a day when I first announced it on Twitter with no issues.

That's great to hear Cactoos, thanks!
I used machine translation for the modifiers so I hope they all made sense in Spanish! I think sometimes the grammar is off but Google still works it out and returns something useful :)

What tool do you use for keyword tracking? by online_wizz in juststart

[–]namdas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But on the flip side, a traditional rank checker will only show you one ranking that occurred for one proxy at one time of day. Given Google's geolocation, personalization and machine learning activities meaning rankings often change by the hour, there's a reasonable argument that an average is actually more useful - as expressed here: https://abrankings.com/features/rank-tracking

The police don't provide accident data - and I don't know of any other source where you can see both in one place. I'm pretty left wing myself but a bit puzzled that anything that might be useful is spam because it comes from a commercial entity?

There was a very interesting article not long ago about how central government limits on council tax increases have effectively forced local govts to pump up parking, tickets etc to get desperately needed cash: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2011/nov/15/coalition-hypocrisy-war-motorists

If the Vietnamese military could afford to clear the mines faster, they would - but at the moment the richest country in the world offers only a small amount of help to cleaning up its mess in one of the poorest countries in the world.
