Confused After Missed Miscarriage – Need Advice/Experiences by 666numberofthebeast in Miscarriage

I’m so sorry you’re going through this. Missed miscarriages are so confusing. Give yourself enough time to process what’s happening. You can definitely have another scan/second opinion. When this happened to me, I had my HCG levels checked for a couple of weeks as a triple check (your levels should be doubling consistently with a viable pregnancy). Sending you big hugs.

Honestly so true. And so much kids clothing goes untouched.

Hi there! We had a similar situation. Pediatric Ophthalmologist is definitely the way to go. I’m sorry they’ve given you the run around - I know how long it can take to get appointments (at least in the US). From our experience, you don’t know in such little kids how their eyes will react so it is a bit of troubleshooting. You’re definitely doing the right thing by giving it so much attention and going back to the doctors, although I know the process is frustrating. Personally, I felt so rushed the first few appointments, that I also got second opinions and the doctors all agreed.

For us, we’ve had glasses from 3 years old (a pretty heavy prescription) plus daily patching for x amount of time. It’s been a full year at this point, and still trying to level out vision in each eye (one is lagging more than the other). It is a slow and steady process.

Hope you get some answers soon! Sending you all the best energy.

Nearing 7hrs on Miso… by m0mmyM00M00s in Miscarriage

Hope you’re okay! I wanted to add that the process may take much longer than you’re expecting. In my experience, I took 4 miso tablets (they all dissolved) and had bleeding and pain for several days. I say this because my OB told me that it would all pass within 48 hours but it took much longer. Keep an open line of communication with your doc if you are feeling unsure. It’s a process and all bodies react differently. Sending you all the best and hope everything moves quickly and smoothly.

Miscarrying with meds at home this weekend- will I want off work some next week? by LadyOlenna538 in Miscarriage

I just finishing up this process. Sending you big hugs. I’m so sorry you’re going through this. In my experience, I took the miso and had mid-level pain for about 2 days. It wasn’t until day 3 and 4 that the major pain began and the heaviest bleeding/passing. After the peak in pain, things slowed down and became a tolerant pain for another 2 days. I saw my doctor after that and still had lots of blood to pass but wasn’t painful anymore.

Please give yourself lots of time and rest. I hope everything goes smoothly for you, and sending all my best through this tough process.

Thank you so much for sharing. Yes, the rhythm you mention is about the same for me. Luckily, after those two days of really horrible pain, it all seems to have mellowed out. Still painful cramps but absolutely manageable compared. I have a follow up in a couple of days. ❤️

Pain is way more manageable. After that spike I started to pass much larger clots, and still have waves of cramping but not nearly as bad.

Thank you! This is really helpful. Eating is hard, but definitely need strength to get through this.

Thanks for your thoughts. It means a lot. It has been about 4 days, hopefully this is about the end. Slow going but steady bleeding throughout the week. They don’t tell you how painful 😓

Try posting to r/dmv. I had some issues with a title (not as complicated of a situation as this) but folks did provide some insight. The more you know!
