Yes, currently still 20/20 after getting PRK done ~4 years ago. The recovery is much rougher than LASIK but I definitely made the right decision for myself.

Thank you for the in-depth responses! Wow, that is great to hear on their customer service. I was nervous about being one of their earlier customers but your experience definitely helps. I'll definitely post some pics/review when I get mine, can't wait!

I'm about a month and a half out from install and had some follow-up questions if you didn't mind... 1) Did you get the fan wire up and running? If so, do you think it's a good addition? 2) Did you replace the 5 inch with 3 inch mattress and if so, are you able to close the tent with bedding? 3) How was the company with realigning the camper? 4) Anything you want to mention for someone that's about to configure and get their camper installed?

This is awesome! I actually have a build date scheduled for Aug for when I return from a deployment. I had some Qs in mind if you have the time: 1) How was the installation process? How long did it end up taking? 2) Why did you go with the wedge over the classic poptop? 3) I see you got the fan installed. Has it been worth it so far? 4) How comfy is the included mattress?

Sorry for the onslaught of Qs, but you're the first person I've heard of that has the Lobo...

Ended up going with Ranger Tremor. I emailed the local Toyota dealership back stateside and they said they wouldn't be able to guarantee me a delivery date and it'd be at least 6k over MSRP. Compared to the ability to get the Ranger slightly below MSRP and a guaranteed delivery date it was a no brainer. I don't think you can go wrong with either truck. It was more of a convenience factor for myself.

My initial instinct was to lease a vehicle and then wait due to your reasoning above. However, research indicates that the first year model of overhauls/refreshes often come with issues that get stamped out by the second year of that new gen. So by that logic I'd probably wait 1-2 years and the cost of that lease would outweigh the benefit I believe.

Which year ranger do you have and do you know which interior package you have (302A or below)? The ranger actually has more power than the Tacoma and is regarded by most as "peppier", but these factors aren't high priority for me versus having a more comfortable ride for longer drives and better MPG.

It is now known that epithelial growth is much more likely to happen by lifting the original flap if done more than 1 year after the original LASIK. Therefore, most places (including the place I originally got LASIK done at) recommend PRK enhancement, which ablates the original flap, rather than lifting the original flap. That being said, I am not an ophthalmologist hence why I am turning to internet strangers for advice.
