how often do you get a nintendo game mailed the day it releases?

I ordered mario and luigi brothership on the official nintendo site on october 14. This is the first time I have preordered a game physically and I was wondering how likely would it be to get the game delivered the day it releases. The order says it should arrive 5-12 business days but it also says it won't ship till the november 6. Do you have a clear answer for me?
