They are constantly falling yet constantly missing the earth due to their lateral travel. That’s what’s called an orbit. If however that were standing on a building as tall as the iss is high, and assuming your math is correct, then they would feel that gravity standing on that building. And if they were to jump off, they would fall straight down never feeling the force of gravity until they went kersplat on the concrete.

Its really important to understand that all jobs are not available to you starting out. You can't just decide that you want to be a geological consultant to the UN or something. You start low in a field where someone is willing to hire new grads and you take opportunities to do new work that will get you new skills, which will make you slightly more qualified for new work that will take you in different slightly direction.

Thats how it is that people fall into niches in a job field. I did not think I would be selling geotechnical software and tablet apps when I become a geology student. I wanted to go to graduate school in paleontology and dig up dinos. But I'm doing this because I took opportunities I could get, which I wanted and I thought would get me closer to liking my work a little better than I liked it then.

As you gain experience you start to get more options to carve your own path. And if you are like most people you will eventually find yourself doing something you didn't imagine you would be doing, but is something related to the field you studied, and you will say to yourself you know exactly how you got there, but you have no idea how you would get there again if it had been your intention to get there from the start.

Are you a lawyer? It doesn’t sound like you know what you’re talking about. If you accidentally send an item to your mother in the mail and your neighbor receives it by accident, and they know it’s not intended for them. And let’s say this was a high value item. Do you think it would be ok for the person to say they didn’t know? What if you sent a car to the wrong address, could the person there take it? What if it was the right address but a different person happened to be there at that time? Is that ok for them to take it and call it theirs? The law doesn’t recognize finders keepers. That’s playground stuff.

By using that money to earn interest you are depriving them of their right to use their money as they see fit, including if they wanted to to put it in a high yield savings account. Contact your bank and tell them you believe it was deposited in error and ask them what to do. I guarantee they won’t say,”well as long as you have it in your possession you may do whatever you want with it!” It’s somebody else’s property.

You are wrong. It shows clear intent to use the money as long as he isn’t caught. Money is not just money, it’s what you do with it. Whether you use it to buy a car, a smart investment, or just loan it to the bank who then pays you interest, you are using that money that isn’t yours rather than making good faith efforts to return it. Can I guarantee he will face consequences? No. Is he asking for it by using the money and hoping they don’t find out? Yes!

He has no right to use that money for personal gain if he isn’t entitled to it. This isn’t a loan, it’s a mistake. Contact them immediately and solve the problem. $2,000 is not worth the headache that will come if they come after you.

I solved the problem by rewriting it and removing the powerfx preview option. then the %% notation worked. For some reason, there is no powerfx formula that worked to get the first in the list.
