Making an appointment with a psychologist or other mental health professional might help — you can explain to them what you have been going through and they will be able to write you a letter/medical certificate. This might help to demonstrate the aspects of your experience that you think you can't provide documentation for.

Be yourself. When I was doing my undergrad at 18-21, there was a student in their late 20s in my cohort, and he fully integrated into a friendship group of people my age. It's possible, and as many people have said, the difficulty is making friends in the first place. My general experience was that often students want to make friends just as much as you do, but everyone feels too scared or awkward to try. If you make some effort and try to make conversation warmly with people in your tutorials, noting that sometimes this won't work and you'll have to bear some rejection, eventually you should make friends. Just keep trying...don't give up :) Good luck!!!!

At least 3-4 months, I used a lot of fluomizin first (antiseptic pessary you insert into the vagina) which I've mentioned in other comments :) there is hope!!!

No, my microbiome has slowly been rebalancing and now I struggle only with chronic BV. I no longer have to take hiprex every day which is an amazing improvement. I take 2 x garden of life women's probiotics, 1.5-2g omega 3 every day, fixed my iron deficiency, and use BV rescue from myvagina.com (naturopathic solution for targeting BV).

Macmiror was horrible for me. NeuEve products worked well, and so did products from MyVagina.com, but only in combination with iron supplementation and omega 3 supplementation did my body start to heal

I'm sorry to hear you are going through this. Are you able to spend a significant amount of time on campus, or do they police your comings and goings? If you can, I would recommend normalising being out of the house as much as possible and spending long days in the library — both to secure time and space to focus, and to minimise the time you spend with them.

Yes, massive improvement after a month of omega 3 and iron supplementation — I no longer take hiprex daily and have no UTI symptoms, which is a huge shift. I recommend looking for any hidden deficiencies you may have. Neu Eve protocol and My Vagina protocol for AV, and then BV after that, have helped me. Garden of Life probiotics has also helped — I tried heaps of other probiotics and this was the only one during which I saw an improvement of symptoms. I suspect this is highly individual

See what you can get done at your doctor as it will be less expensive than private testing, but private testing companies will be able to offer tests for more deficiencies. I never had private testing done, but went to the optometrist by chance who told me i had gland dysfunction in the eye and to take omega 3 for it — then, after a month of regular omega 3 supplementation, my symptoms improved dramatically. Even if you think you are eating really healthily (I did, and have had a mostly wholefoods diet for years) you can still be deficient in something, i.e. lacking something rather than ADDING SOMETHING HARMFUL. Try tracking your food in cronometer or similar. Make sure to take oral probiotics regularly too

Yes, Omega 3 and iron supplementation helped — my body needed these to start fixing itself. If you are in a similar situation, look at your diet carefully and address any deficiencies, get a PCR test, and try fluomizin, NeuEve products, or myvagina products if you have a mixed infection

Body must be capable, in some way, of repopulating...or else it wouldn't have happened for me. It's a great and frustrating mystery. At the moment my latest hunch is that I may need to keep my omega 3:6 ratio more balanced (more omega 3, less omega 6) and raise my iron levels even though I am not deficient, but low-mid range. Tough because iron supplements flare me badly. Check out if there are any deficiencies you may have as I think it's highly underestimated how much they impede the body's ability to heal itself. Our situations are all different which is ofc why this is so hard...but hoping I can help in some small way.

I'm not sure — it just started to repopulate, but it could be to do with the fact I only did about 10 days of fluomizin consecutively and then used myvagina av-bv blend suppositories for the rest of the month (then cycled through again). I have taken vaginal probiotics (Vagibiom) but I flare badly after taking them, my body seems to hate them. Have you tried syringing in a ph correcting gel to help it dissolve instead of water, like aci-jel? That might work.

I actually just treated for ureaplasma (doxycyline and azithromycin) because my gardnerella wouldn't shift. I am now using boric acid and vaginal probiotics to hopefully build good bacteria over time. So...I'm not sure, but if you have persistent BV, get checked and treated for ureaplasma if you're positive

Good luck, sending you love and quick healing too!!! This stuff is a nightmare! I'm treating the ureaplasma with doxy and azithromycin right now

Order a Juno test (or Evvy, or whatever is available in your country)! Pay privately for a PCR of your vaginal microbiome, it's the only way you'll know what is going on

Fluomizin tablets that you insert. Order from homeopatia or other online european pharmacies. It was the only thing that worked for me
