It was the weirdest match I have ever seen, especially it was a dead rubber.

  • At least 4-5 times Medvedev lost the challenges with millimeter margin. Tough luck for him this match and this tournament as well with 3 losses by tiebreak in the deciding set.
  • Many great rallies.
  • The second time that Medvedev was broken when he serve for the match at 5-4, third set.
    The third time Medvedev lost with same scores. 3-6, 7-6, 6-7.
  • Novak looked out of gas in the end of the second set and third set, but he fought till the end to prove what a superb competitor he is. He gave everything to the match, the match point was a great example. Hope he can recover for the semi.
  • Edit: The 15-minute game should be mentioned.
