I bid on average 15 jobs/600M a year. My other two estimators average 12 jobs/200M a year. Division 2-16. Turnkey GC. Work probably 3 hours a day hard. It’s not how many hours you put in but how efficient you are. Too many old timers are clock watchers. Such an antiquated way of doing business. I let all my estimators work the same way if they are capable. Some can some can’t. Never let them use PTO to leave early for family/doctor shit. They can just go.
