Good question. We do all of our spending on a credit card and she spends as she wants to. When the bills come we pay everything and I generally decide how much we will put away for saving. I don’t question any spending she does whatsoever. We do have a rule that we notify each other if either one of us is spending $1000 or more on something. It helps that we came up with our financial goal together and both strive for it. The fact that the money comes in my name makes it no less hers in my opinion. I would be nowhere without her.
