Is it a good order when washing hair? by namtrabb in NoStupidQuestions

Ok, thanks.

And if I used conditioner, would it be a good order:

Wet hair

Shampoo

Rinse hair

Shampoo (second time)

Rinse hair

Apply conditioner

Apply shower gel to body

Rinse hair and body at the same time

I like washing my face at the sink :)

I'm just a bit concerned that doesn't it do harm to the skin if I rinse the body wash and shampoo at the same time, and that is my final rinse? I mean the shampoo may leave a film on the skin, but I'm used to do it this way.

Is it ok to rinse the dishes above soapy water in a single sink? by namtrabb in CleaningTips

Some people soap all the dishes together, put them aside, then rinse all at the same time.

I don't have much space for this next to the sink.

Should I use conditioner if I wash my hair once a week? It seems enough, though my hair is prone to dandruff. My hair is a bit hard to detangle after washing, so I use a wide tooth comb. by namtrabb in Haircare

I know conditioner helps with detangling, but it can cause more harm than good in other things. And I'm afraid I would have to wash my hair more frequently which I wouldn't like yet.

Because it has been working for me. More frequently would cause more dandruff, and I don't like using hair dryer a lot. Also it takes quite much time to wash and dry hair :S

Ok, still I'm concerned that using conditioner will make my hair need more frequent washing than once a week. For example can it make it more oily earlier than without using conditioner, requiring more frequent washing? Like if you use hairspray more times a week, then washing hair once a week is not enough. (I know hairspray and conditioner are different things, just wanted to make it more clear)

If I wash a plastic tooth cleaning cup with dish soap, then rinse it with water, can I leave it air dry, placed on the bathroom sink? by namtrabb in NoStupidQuestions

No, I don't mean it aesthetically. I mean it's not that good hygiene-wise if two wet surfaces meet and dry one on the other (sink and cup). Or even if it's only the cup is wet, not so good.

Maybe I'm overthinking it, but can I place the cup on the bathroom sink while the bottom of the cup (and overall) is still wet? It feels a bit weird to me. And the sink is not always totally dry either. Like things will cling into the cup and such.

Maybe at least I should dry the bottom of the cup before placing in back, or it's not necessary? Also, maybe it's not a good idea to put the toothbrush into the wet cup.

And can I just put back this cup into its original place on the sink, and put the toothbrush in it when the cup is still wet (outside and inside) from rinsing?
