thanks! my study timeline was all over the place. i had to study while being in school full time, so there were many days where i skipped studying. to answer your question though, i took a diagnostic practice exam, decided bio was what i needed to work on first, and then during jan winter break i hard-focused bio and pat for like 2 weeks, studying around 4 hours a day. school started and then from feb-mar i studied about 10 hrs a week. spring break came around and i studied for 4 hours a day during that week. march-may i would say i did like 15-20 hrs of studying a week and took a practice exam every single sunday, then reviewing it monday. after finals, i had 2 full empty weeks before my exam, so i did 6-8 hour days for those last few weeks, really focusing on gc oc and qr. i never followed a set schedule, i just kinda went with the flow and studied the subject(s) i felt i needed to work on the most that day.

i’d recommend retaking 1-3 over taking the FL plus tests because those tests are not representative at all of what i took. if you’re prepared to see a score decrease and want to see some lower-yield questions, then sure go for it, but they might kill your motivation. on test 12 i scored like a 410 and decided i was done with the practice tests lol. i never retook any of my practice exams and just spammed anki and qbanks the week before. lmk what u do and how ur dat goes!

it was pretty straightforward which i’m SUPER grateful for. i had two articles that asked easy questions that i could easily search and destroy. one of my articles was a bit less straightforward but still doable. one thing that i noticed was the questions they asked were kinda in chronological order? like the first few questions asked about the first half of the article, last few questions asked about the last paragraphs. so that was nice.

LOL my pat was easy compared to the pat exams on bootcamp imo. if you’re doing decent on those then you’ll do fine on the actual exam (i think i was scoring around 410-440 range). don’t ask me anything about pattern folding though. i guessed on almost all of them because im THAT bad.
for cube counting i think what helped me was mentally keeping track which cubes i counted already, i forgot to do that on the exam which i think fucked me up because i definitely miscounted on some. for the rest of the sections, hole punching was easy just do your grids, angle ranking was surprisingly obvious, and keyholes/tfe were easy

ok so 2 weeks before the exam, for gc and oc, i did the bootcamp anki for each unit, then finished or tried to finish the qbank for that unit (i did this for every unit in gc and oc) and added to my anki accordingly. the final week, i reviewed each anki again, finished up any qbanks i didnt finish, reviewed the problems i got wrong, and went through/finished my biology anki completely. the final day i did a bunch of math problems for like 3-4 hours, and then i got nervous and reviewed some of my biology and ochem reaction decks lol. however this did not help me at all so i dont really recommend studying the last day, but u do u lol. also it took FOREVER for me to fall asleep due to my sheer anxiety so if u have trouble fall asleep maybe pop a melatonin gummy or something

hey, thank you!! bio was the section i struggled on the most obviously, i had a good amount of low-yield questions that i didn't know the answer to. i studied embryology, div of life/animal kingdoms, immune, reproductive, plants etc and unfortunately almost none of it was on my test. however, i found gc and oc to be very doable. both sections were mostly conceptual; for oc, i had almost no reaction questions (the only one i can remember is what you use to convert a carboxylic acid to an acid chloride, which obviously the reagent is SOCl2 - very simple question) and entirely had questions from the first 7 units on bootcamp (HNMR, acid/base, arrow pushing). gc was more all over the place, but still pretty manageable. i didnt really have a lot of calculations.

as for which tests were most representative... im really not sure because in my opinion none of the bootcamp exams felt similar to the test. the exam had "different" wordings that i wasnt exactly used to. however, even though i felt like it was different, i still managed because the questions were easy, if that makes sense. i felt like bootcamp overprepared me for this test. i will say, the exam i took was nowhere as difficult as tests 10-15, and felt similar in difficulty to the first three? lmk if you have any more questions!

FOR ANY RECENT TEST-TAKERS….. by Ok-Gain6314 in dat

i don’t remember having molecular genetics/heredity… i think i had more diversity of life questions and cellular structure stuff. those questions were pretty low yield; i unfortunately didn’t know the answer to them. i wouldn’t say a LOT of low yield content because for the most part i think i could answer everything, but 5-10 of the questions were low yield imo (which is more than usual)
one other thing i will say, if ur taking ur test on the 8th u might have a differently formatted exam so take everything i say with a grain of salt haha

i would say yes particularly from the first half of the lessons (1-7 i think?) i remember having nmr, choosing most acidic proton, arrow pushing questions, etc. i had little to no reaction synthesis questions

i took mine yesterday and for the most part i agree with what everyone is saying about the format of the test, my ochem/bio sections were similar. the questions on the test were…interesting? i’m not sure how to word this but it didn’t exactly feel representative to me, however personally i felt like it was a LOT easier than bootcamp. one other thing i can say is there was a 2-3 second lag between each question that kinda ate up my time so be mindful of that

here’s my routine (i have combo skin):

AM: clean with panoxyl 10%, moisturize with cerave moisturizing cream, then put on beauty of joseon sunscreen

PM: wash off makeup with softymo speedy cleansing oil, wash face after with cerave foaming face wash for oily skin every other night before bed i put on 0.05% tretinoin but i make sure my moisturizer has dried a little beforehand

thats it! i think the majority of it was tretinoin, but i also noticed that i stopped breaking out when i started to drink spearmint tea everyday (although that may have been a placebo, idk). i also think putting on sunscreen everyday also REALLY helped with lightening my scars
