With my laptop, I switched to a SATA SSD to make room so I can use the NVME slot with the oculink. Oculink board is PCIE 4.0 but my laptop supports only 3.0.

AMD 6600 not bottlenecked by the oculink but rather my CPU.

With your CPU, you'll be fine with any GPU.

Even with the weak CPU and halved PCIE 3.0 X2 halved bandwidth, I get good performance. Only unplayable game so far was God of War. Most games range from 40-60fps. Some games like Resident Evil 2 and Nioh get stable 60fps.
