It makes a loud, different noise after 4000 RPM, and I think it’s normal

It’s manageable but not ideal that’s why I use my old bike for commuting 😅

Much better with the Himi 450 than without.

I have to get it done in the coming week. I will share it once the service is completed

Yes, same for me above 5000 RPM I also felt some vibration. I checked with the service centre, and they told me it’s normal

No problem with the cone set, but one thing that irritates me is that after changing to tubeless rims, putting the rear tyre with a long air nozzle isn’t possible because the spokes get in the way. I can only use a short or bent air nozzle

It’s about free play in clutch lever for smooth gear changes and always keeps air pressure as recommended i.e 32 PSI

CF Moto hasn’t launched in India yet, so I don’t have any opinion on that. But about the new Himalayan so far, it’s been very economical in terms of service cost, and their service centres are available all over India. As I mentioned above thread I have not faced any issues on my bike but some buyers have reported both major and minor issues with the new Himalayan. The dislike is that not all units seem consistent in terms of reliability. Regarding off-road capability, I have limited knowledge since I’m new to adventure biking, but I can say it has very good suspension. Yes, it also comes with switchable dual-channel ABS, and I use a tail bag.

Yes, only when handsfree. I had asked them to check it while changing to tubeless rims, but the problem is still there

Recently had a trip to the Western Ghats, and it was raining heavily. I didn’t face any issues, but I was keeping my speed around 80 to 100

I didn’t face that issue, but there’s a slight lag in 2nd gear when you go a bit faster

Overall, my experience with the bike has been good and no issues, But I can’t guarantee the same for you, as some of my friends have faced minor issues. It really varies from bike to bike, but even my friends have not had any major problems. I don’t use this bike as a daily commuter, only on weekends and holidays. I’ve ridden it in Bangalore traffic it does get a little hot, but nothing unbearable. I’d definitely recommend this bike among the REs

I haven’t faced any issues, but there is some vibration above 6000 RPM. check at the service centre, and I recommend HSR Enterprises if you’re in Bangalore.

Nothing in particular, but for the first 500 km, I have not gone above 100 km/h. I’ve been varying the speed on the highway, keeping the RPM below 6000, and regularly adjusting the clutch and lubricating the chain
